I'm sitting here snacking on some meant-for-halloween whoppers which are my current favorite. Definitely weren't my favorite as a kid though! Back then I loved Reeses and would trade anything for a pixie stick.

I loved Snickers as kid. But unfortunately due to peanut allergies we won't hand out Snickers or Reeses. So we hand out Nerds, Skittles, Kit Kats, Nestle Crunch, and Smarties.
As a kid, 3 musketeers were my favorite. When I took my younger sisters trick or treating, their payment for doing an extra block of houses was all of their 3 musketeer bars. Now I love milkyway darks, plain M&M's, sweet tarts, and candy corn, the good stuff.
I liked Snickers and Reese's as a kid and I do still like those, but if given the option (and I make sure to buy at least one bag) I will always choose the newer Reese's Take 5 candy bars now! Pretzels, peanuts, caramel & peanut butter all covered in chocolate = YUM!!
I will say I really liked the Yum Earth allergen free treats I bought last year. I have some ToTs with limitations, so it means I discovered their delicious gummies and lollipops
My kids are big fans of these too! I still keep a sandwich bag of the lollipops in our car even though my kids are older now. They save me on the "got the gimmies"!
Finally someone else that doesn't like the chocolate and peanut butter combo! Everyone I know thinks I'm crazy but I am just not a fan. Each separately is great, just don't mix 'em together and I'm good!
All time favorite I'd probably have to say Reese's cups? But because I'm a glutton for punishment, I went full vegan early last year so, sadly.... no (commercial) chocolate for me now. From what's easily available and I can eat, I'd say either Skittles or Swedish Fish. Anyone got any good vegan favorites that aren't sour patch kids, let me know.
I am a candy corn and halloween mix fan. But ... reeses cups came out with reeses thins in milk and dark chocolate. It changes the ratio of chocolate to peanut butter filling and OMG it is amazing. But candy corn is my year-round fav.
My favorite are the boxes of full size candy bars that Costco puts on sale every year. I over buy knowing I can return the unopened boxes. That way I don't stress about running out and the kids love the big bars.
It's not for handing out to ToTers, but I love the gummy fangs that Target sells every year. Always stock up with several packages. I like dark chocolate Snickers, Reeses Pieces, junior mints, and raisinettes, none of which is easy to find in ToT mixes.
