I just put out our tombstones and witches today. Lots more to go out tomorrow. My wife has got the candy all sorted and has our sheet by the door (we actually record how many kids we get - and what they're dressed as.) So she's done some of the last minute things we always forget about. But still lots of stuff to get out - there's an animated prop I made last year that was kind of the big feature and it crapped out after a half hour so I want to see if I can get that running smoothly.
Glad the weather is looking up. And good on you for getting your treat bags done. Almost there! I hope you get totally swarmed with happy TOTers.
What? With 3 (and a half) days left? Not even close. That'd take some kind of black magic I'm not familiar with.
Got the candy though. And a lot of the props are close to being reassembled. Hoping to get the staples done and ready to go out tomorrow and then maybe I'll have a bit of time to do something a little more creative - seems like it's always the last minute things that make the difference here. I'm "between jobs" so I've got the luxury of having the next few days off, which is very nice at this time of year.
How about you? It sounds like you're as ready as the weather will allow you to be. Still keeping my fingers crossed that the sun will do a sneak attack in time to save the day for you.
Yes, I think Eric is my 1st love, hahaha Probably ALL our 1st loves.. Nordic God or what? OK I'll stop now. LOL! I can't believe it's been on for 6 years! Did you ever see "Six Feet Under?" The director or producer of True Blood, that was his 1st show, about a family who were Morticians. I bet you did see it, that's how I knew I'd like/love True Blood. I actually cried at the end of Six Feet Under, was my all-time Fav show at that point, 2006 I think it was.
I'm so glad there's at least one more season, have they said it's the last season?
Still watching "True Blood"? I am, can't believe how intricate the stories are now. Did you read the books? I tried, but to me the series just blows the book away. I don't think I've ever said that before! Pam is also my fav character! Oh, and El Cid, isn't he 6' 6" or something? Talk about tall, dark and handsome....LOL and Of Course, Eric! Thanks for the Friend Request!
You don't know me very well! To paraphrase Walt Disney, "As long as there is imagination in the world, my haunt will never be finished!" Of course it'd help if I got off my behind and did something. But I won't be ready until after the third or fourth TOTer.
How about you? You got everything all figured out?
Hmm. Just read back...what's your iPad countdown app? That might be worth a purchase.
I've had more time than ever this year but everything is still in progress. Worst part is we had to have a tree removed from our front yard this month so we're gonna have a big hole to fill, literally.
Everything'll turn out OK though. Always does.
You have anything special planned? I saw the owl you bought the other day and was kinda tempted. You'll have to let me know how it works out.
