I found a bark and growl I liked and timed the jaw to that using the 4banger software (buttonbanger.com). It has a small MP3 player card attached to Arduino.

The JQ6500-28P has a micro SD slot whereas the JQ6500-16P has a small USB uploadable FLASH. Both support serial.

The Catalex YX5300 also has serial with micro SD card.
