I tried to find a 2023 thread so tell me if there is one. The Forest Figure is back! She was $549, now $599 plus $50 oversize shipping. Anyone know of applicable coupons?
I feel like the last couple of years they've gone super high end with Katherine's Collection & then some meh stuff that isn't super expensive but overpriced with bad sales on stuff.
I used to get at least one thing from them a year if not more, & I haven't bought anything for a few years now.I bought two big ticket items last year from Grandin Road. I bought Katherine’s Collection Haunted Figure Window, and the Haunted Forest Figure. I was able to get the KC window at an incredible savings of over $800 and free shipping. I understand that the window was overpriced at $1399 to begin with but I still felt like I paid a decent price. She’s so 3-D that she’s become one of my favorite pieces. On the Haunted Forest Figure I was able to get her with a $50 reward coupon and 20% off and free shipping but I had to pay the $50 oversized shipping fee. At the end of the year I bought the gauze mantel piece that they carry, in fact, I bought two of them for a total of four over the two years that they have carried them. I really do like those as you can use them on the table and I used them outside to hang on my screened-in porch. but like you, I used to buy the majority of my props there, but have pretty much stopped that. I’m not sure if my house is way too full or I’m concentrating on props from Home Depot and Distortions Unlimited. Or perhaps a combination of both.I feel like the last couple of years they've gone super high end with Katherine's Collection & then some meh stuff that isn't super expensive but overpriced with bad sales on stuff.

Oh yeah!Wow... that Headless Horseman statue was something that I didn't know that I needed to have in my life.
He originally came out in 2009 and was $600How much was he before?
Yes, I was one of those people! They’ve changed over the last several years though, either by cutting costs and getting rid of those free gifts, or by deeming me as not being a “worthy” client because I don’t spend as much $$$ with them anymore (I used to spend THOUSANDS with them yearly once upon a time ago). I do occasionally receive either $25 or $50 gift cards, but they are not like true gift cards, they are “coupon codes” so you can’t combine them with any other promotion going on, which I thought was bullshit. Several of them I ended up never even using because of that.I remember there used to be someone on this website who could pull up the new merchandise links before they went live. Anyone else remember that? Yes, GR hasn’t been bringing in the selection it used to, but the catalog is still fabulous. Even though the price is a little crazy, I am looking forward to receiving the death moth tree clips and putting them on my Halloween tree.
There used to be one or two people on here that purchased so much from GR that they received a free Halloween gift in the mail before Halloween Haven opened up. Is GR still doing that?
Guess they wanted to get in on the gigantic skeleton action that Home Depot has been having these past couple years.Wait, they've opened new Halloween Haven already? Nevermind, I see it's a sneak peek.
That animated skeleton looks awful. So far not much there I'd want.
I agree. Years ago they used to set themselves apart by the products they offered….I mean truly above and beyond anything their competitors carried. Now? Not so much. I mean I get that times have changed and costs have risen, but they really didn’t seem to try very hard to keep the things that kept us customers coming back for more. My pursestrings like it, but my heart absolutely does not!It looks really underwhelming. Like bordering on cheap imitation..
They should’ve just skipped it and stuck with what they have been doing well - the statues and actual characters (like the HH and the forest mujer..)
