I had one of their credit cards, but because of the bank they use, Comenity Bank, I canceled it after roughly 9 months. For whatever reason the bank could never get it together… when I went to use it it was forever blocked. Then when I went to sign on to see what was happening, I could never sign on either. I used to work at a bank and sometimes, even though it defied logic, once an account had multiple problems you just seemed to keep on having problems. But yes, the sign up bonus was very nice and in enabled me to get $100 off an item I was purchasing. In the end the headache and time it cost me was not worth it.

Oh, I see the deadhead moth ornaments/clips are back. 😧 I wanted them last year, but missed out. Anyone know when the next free shipping event is? I’m in some weird void where I can buy things, but never receive promotional emails from them, so I only know of sales when I check on their website.

if you have an account at Grandin, try putting them in your shopping cart. And let them sit. Sometimes they will give you a free shipping coupon because you have items left in your cart. There are times when Grandin Road promotions say that Halloween Haven is excluded but that is not always true. Just keep on entering the promo code anytime you get any sort of coupon for free shipping or 20% off. This strategy has worked for me and I was pleasantly surprised with free shipping at times. Not always tho.
May have spoken to soon. The free shipping showed no exclusions but would not work with the item. Used chat and person said it was excluded. Never had that happen before. Maybe they are getting more strict. I can get more strict with my discretionary spending as well.

One customer service rep told me different customers will also get different offers/ promo codes. Over the years I have found that returning items do not sell out as fast as they did the first year that they came available on the website. A patient collector can get things for nice discounts. Grandin Road has multiple items that come up year after year. It’s not like Home Depot where it’s only available for a year or two. Grandin Road normally has things available for 2 to 4 years. Not always, but if they sell out quickly, then they will carry it again next year. This is just my experience and not the law. Lol.

I get free shipping today with this offer code XXW64215. The offer is 20% off plus free standard shipping site wide on Grandin Road however the offer code was only good for free shipping on the Halloween moth clips. I asked how much of a savings and the customer service rep said it was $12.95. Good Luck!

That is a bit crazy!😖I got it as well, and it does work for the item I had in my cart. You know, the item in my cart they sent me an “exclusive“ free shipping, one-time use code for the item in your cart that would not work

Still waiting for a coupon...Everything has been Halloween excluded. I maybe should have ordered when they did free shipping. I feel like a gambler waiting for a better hand.

In previous years Grandin Road does their sneak preview the first 10 days of July… then one can start getting free shipping/discounts. Grandin Road Halloween 2023 is coming. I am not trying to be condescending…I am so so eager for the new reveal!

I remember there used to be someone on this website who could pull up the new merchandise links before they went live. Anyone else remember that? Yes, GR hasn’t been bringing in the selection it used to, but the catalog is still fabulous. Even though the price is a little crazy, I am looking forward to receiving the death moth tree clips and putting them on my Halloween tree.
There used to be one or two people on here that purchased so much from GR that they received a free Halloween gift in the mail before Halloween Haven opened up. Is GR still doing that?

I have been buying from Grandin Road for a couple of decades! Ouch… it hurts to admit that! I remember the times Martha Stewart had some her products listed in the catalog. I do receive $50 gift coupons 2 to 3 times a year, if I add them on to 20% off and free shipping you can save a decent amount. The prices are going up as happening with all sectors of retail. Their products hold their value on the secondhand market so there’s that. At least that is the argument I use with my husband!😏
