Awesome looks great!! I have been working on props all year, still have a few to finish. Working 40 plus hours a week
and 3 nights to 9pm have really slowed me down..... ug.....

 

Nice job on the corpsing. Wish I could get carpentry done so I could have some fun with things like this.
The robed figures look like Stiltbeast graveyard statues. Sheets and MM.

 

That's exactly what the statues are. A large part of my props are stiltbeast influenced.

CREEPERS: I made the one creeper on the right (without the eyes last year.) I wanted do two, but it was at the end of the season when my patience was running short. I finally gave it a Brother. Not sure how I feel about the eyes though. What do you all think? Do they look better with eyes, without or as they are? Thanks for any feedback.

I like the eyeless one better . Does it have sunglass lenses or something.in the sockets? Doesn't look just hollow to me.
Are they regular skellies with extended arms and heavy corpsing?

 

Thanks. They are regular skeletons with extended arms and heavy corpsing. I also break the neck in two and extend it using flexible copper and epoxy so that the head is more posable. Btw.. nothing special about the eyes other than building up the brows to get a more creepy look.

I think the one without the eyes is creepier.

 

I wound up changing the zo.bie on the cross into a scarecrow. Everyone thought it was supposed to be Zombie Jesus which is not what I was going for.

I had some 4x12 canvas tarp left over from a couple of stiltbeast studios graveyard statues I was working on last week. I spray painted it with black rubber undercoating.

Where did you get hair? I need some source for hair, never can seem to find it.

 

I always buy wigs from Kmart after Halloween when they are 1/2 price. I cut the hair is want off of the wig. Then I use a spray adhesive on the head and lay out the Haiti in the way I like.

 

Posted a pic of my creeper in progress on the tutorial thread.

 

I am running out of places to put the Halloween stuff and put the creepers out back. I may need to ask my 10 year old son and his friend tograb me something from under the back deck around dusk.

The creepers are so devilish n disturbing. Well done. I don't mind the eyeball but maybe they could be a bit more demonic? A black iris on white or a foggy white film over the blue...

I went to do it to my son and he said "I already saw it when I was on the trampoline earlier ". Kind of killed the surprise.

Andddddd i couldn't wait until October to set something up. I set the scarecrow up for now about 100 feet or so off the street among some trees. My hope is that when people are walking their dog in the morning and the fog is rolling across the neighborhood they look over, see it and a double take. Yes I may have too much time on my hands right now

Made a tribute to Iron Maiden zombie today. I was trying figure out what to do with a Skeleton when "the Number of the Beast " came on the radio. Figured what the heck and did a Zombie based on their mascot.
