I am intending to build a full size zombie containment unit using all the parts available from Hi-Rez Designs. I understand this will be quite an undertaking and was wondering if anyone here has built such a device?

Hello Aviator24. I am in the process of building one now. I am building the large upright box instead of the barrel. I ordered all the parts from Hi-Rez except the pneumatics which I already had. Hope to start the box construction this week. I put all the electronics together and tested them and everything works great!! Should be a lot of fun. I will start a thread when I get started. If you would share some pics of yours!!
I'd like to try this too but maybe controlled by a raspberry pi. Anyone thought of a good way to trigger relays if you're not buying the hardware from HiRez?
Only thing I can think of is to just try to time it out and have the relays fire at 32 sec into the clip (or whatever) . I worry that this might cause synch problems once the video starts looping.
Been digging. Seems something like this might work if you put DTMF tones (telephone keypad beeps) on the L channel of your video and the SFX on the R (or vice versa) and hooked up a splitter so the left channel was going into the board and the right was going to speakers.
I'm betting that's what the Hir-ez one does (and it's one tenth the price!)
I am looking to build a Zombie Containment unit. I do not know where to start for instructions or information. Do you have a parts list available for constructing ? The electronics and cylinders ?
Thanks
Hey Bamagrad1961, I ordered all the electronics from Hi-Rez designs!! Their instructions are easy to follow!! I designed my own cabinet. Check out their website!!
