I love projecting! If you are doing it on a scrim, I suggest projecting ghosts flying! Especially if you can see things behind the scrim. I wish I knew an animation program to do this.

 

I have a couple of pics of my exwife...That would scare anyone...lol

How about some shots from the original horror movies...Dracula, Frankestien, Werewolf.

 

Any of those ideas can work !
I have the Hallowindow video that we used last year, but I was hoping for something different this year.

Check out the NEW Hallowindow for 2010.....he has 3 Hallowindow video's so far, but this years tops 'em all (in my humble opinion)......especially check out the Zombies!!!!

Have you checked out what Hi-Rez from this forum is offering? He has created several videos for different prop applications, but one video (Ghosts) is specifically for projecting and I think he is working on another. You can see a sample of the finished one on youtube here which also has very high quality audio.

I've been getting videos using Plato Video Recorder,free download on Ultraprojector.com.You can record any video running on your computer and save as an .avi file.With this,you can record just the part of the video you like.You can record still images as well and can then run them as a video on your projector.
Oh yeah!You can always make your own videos with a camcorder.

 

What I recommend is the original ghost video- Night on Bald Mt. on the Fantasia dvd

Edited from the original dvd and player set to loop continuously

These are all great.... I especially like the curtain one Mr Grimsley!
Its simple AND dark so it wont light up the area too much.

I really wanted something with more of a startle effect but I may go with something more like these so it can just loop all night.
