Picked up a couple last year, definitely cool for the price point. I was disappointed with the coverage though.

 

Works well for me, I've used one for a couple years now to highlight one of my props that I have off on the side of my walkway that doesn't get hit by the flood light. Gives a good up glow on that particular prop without being overbearing. I really should buy some more to highlight more of the cemetery.

 

I ordered a couple this afternoon to try out. They look like they would be good for lighting small areas, not wide coverage.

 

Great spot light. Offers great coverage.

 

I just picked those up too! I wanted some smaller spots so the lack of coverage doesn't bother me as much. I like that they are flexible (multiple colors and solid/strobe), remember the color setting, and I don't have to keep separate color gels/plates like with my other lights. I haven't set them up this year to really test them out yet.

 

I have like 20 of them.

I am lazy and super cheep so the old version of these were my go to for pretty much all the lighting, including the "thunder and lightning" effect. They used to only come in the bright white version, so I used see-through colored binders and cut out circles to use as "gels". Wish the color showed up better in these pics. But, this was the second year using the "gels" and after being out in the sun and used so much, they had dulled by the time these pics were taken as well.

Those of you who have these, how much heat do they put out on the body of the fixture? Looking to hide some of these up against the backs of some foam and/or plastic tombstones, but I don't want to create a huge fire hazard.

 

They produce no heat whatsoever in the back or front.

 

That's great to hear. Some of my LED spots do get pretty warm, which is odd considering they're LED and shouldn't produce much heat at all.

 

a couple of these would solve a few lighting problems I think. Maybe I'll look into getting some.
