I see that most SVI prop's motion sensors have three wires. From my brief research, I'm assuming one is the power supply, one the grounding and one the output? My question is, what happens if you were to cut off the sensor and connect all there wires to each other?
Context: I noticed that the new Home Depot Frankenstein's Monster animatronic as a lights only option instead of the usual continuous on. I want to by pass the motion sensor (so the prop is continuously on) and I figured the best way to do that would be to just join the three wires. Would that work?
I thought of rigging a step pad by connecting the two wires permanently inside, but unfortunately that doesn't work. Most SVI supplied step pads work not on connection, but connection followed by release.
