From what i'm seeing and how they are describing the part shipments, I can bet it's an SVI prop.

I'm surprised they're coming out with a Franken after how poorly the Home Depot one did. It wasn't bad (design wise, the price was another story...) but it was probably one of the weakest animatronics sales wise.

 

Medusa stuff ehh?? Maybe a hell museum sorta theme. Maybe baphomet stuff?

After multiple years of following Spirit Halloween rules about getting ISE‘s, and never getting any. I am done with Spirit Halloween. These ISE’s for 2024 were fantastic and I went multiple times to my Spirit Halloween and was confirmed again, again and again that I was going to get it until two days before, the pick up date. I had even rented a van to get this ISE to my home. It ended up that the manager decided to sell it to somebody else. I understand that this is not something that will end my life, but still… I feel if you follow the rules, and do exactly what the employees tell you to do and then you end up not getting anything well that sucks. So for me, Spirit Halloween is dead, this is not the first time and I’m not going to be feeling like Charlie Brown, Lucy, and the football anymore. Because if you really think about it, Spirit Halloween has inflated prices and props that do not last. I’ll stick with Home Depot and Distortions Unlimited.

 

I know you stated your done, but I happen to have the a good bit of the 2024 CarnEvil ISE's (Fortune Teller, shooting gallery, plushy tent and some of the wheel of fate) still in the flat pack boxes and quite a bit of the accessories, if you're interested. I planned on making a formal post on the For Sale board of everything I have with pics included, but since I came across this post I thought i'd mention it.

 

Rumor is 2025's ISE's are going to be "Universal monsters". So Frankenstein's lab, draculas castle, wolfman, etc. We'll know for sure in June/July when they do the formal reveal for full time staff.

 

That would be cool but I don't think they would do a liscensed ISE. Maybe like a mini display like they did with the Nightmare Before Christmas when they had the Jack and Sally animatronics.

 

Spirit should drop the coupon game and just lower the prices 20%. The inflated retail price makes their prices feel higher than they actually are. And basically it just rips the people off who are new customers and don't know the coupon game.

Also no more animatronics that have spoken audio without mouth movement. It's the mid-2020s. Not the 1990s.

 

I'm fine with no mouth animation so long the face sculpt is good.

 

I know we won't get it but I'd love to see the Nibbles technology in a Haunted Doll or a Knight of Armor Statue prop.

 

Yeah, clowns are overrated but imagine like, a trapped zombie that seems to know you're just outside it's reach, or a reaper that recognizes you as an upcoming target.

 

I have not purchased a non-licensed prop from Spirit in years. Their prices are very high, and I feel that Home Depot has been so much better in design and quality, and gives you a chance to purchase closeouts online before Halloween. For me, they need to get better licenses next year, and lower prices or at least bring back the 40% off coupons. With Party City on the rocks, they have a chance to gain back some ground next year.

 

Spirit has now selfishly disabled their catalog page. Good luck getting leaks now! I hope Gina is happy with the dumb rule.

That's not bad, especially compared to the HD one. No mouth movement is kinda cheap though.

 

Why would a company release a $279 Frankenstein animatronic 3 weeks after Halloween that doesn't have mouth movement? Are they even trying?

 

Not impressed. Far better options to spend $280 on...

Honestly, I think this would've been better as a static prop. Save a little money and puts the focus on the amazing detailing rather than the animation (or rather the lack thereof...)

 

It doesn't so much lunge as it just bends over like it's ripping a bad fart.

 

The face mold is poorly made. The hair isn’t real, the scar looks like red paint and the suit looks like he just walked into a store just to buy it. There’s no gauze or withering on him like HD. I hope someone makes a modded version of it with way better looks.

As dumb as this is, it’s only the second female clown we’ve gotten, so that’s something going for it. Other than that it sucks. Though if they’re going to keep making clowns, at least make some female clowns so there’s some uniqueness.
