Both Pottery Barn and Grandin Road orders arrived. Contrary to the contents listed on my email, I received my correct order - one of each of the witch candle holders. View attachment 806476
I’m glad yours were correct, I really love the double one so hopefully I can find one at some point. I like the single one too but it was annoying to spend that much, especially with their way expensive shipping on top of that and not get exactly what I wanted.

Wow so detailed! Almost feels like a BlueSky piece.

Has anyone bought this from Williams Sonoma before?:

(says new but it's just the bundle. Before you could only buy separately)
How has it lasted being dishwashed? Does the matte finish scratch up?

Ugh this is so pretty on Terrain but man it feels like an optical illusion since they say it's 9 inches tall

Next year I'll add Sur la Table to the thread title since it's kinda the same vibe, small selection and expensive.

They have a new plate design this year

I got two dinner plates last year and one chipped like two months later. They are ceramic but feel light weight compared to other plates I own. Anytime a spooky plates gets damaged it goes out of rotation and onto a plate hanger to become wall art.

Bumping this thread since there’s now quite a few markdowns for Halloween already on PB’s website. I’m still waiting out a few things in my cart (like the Mr. Bones mirror and some of the skeleton serving pieces) but this seems early compared to years past so maybe deeper discounts are a possibility before the big day. If they do one of their extra 20% off sale promotions I’ll probably pull the trigger on most of what’s in my cart, I wish PB’s shipping wasn’t so absurdly high though.

Was looking at the Anthro/Terrain website and came across a paper bat garland that I was about to purchase which was made by East End Press, but then I decided to look online to see if I could find it elsewhere for less and came across the actual company’s website. They have some wonderful looking Halloween garlands, paper ornaments, masks etc and they’re less expensive then going through Anthro/Terrain. The garlands are on sale 3 for 2 and international shipping is free on orders over $50 (I believe they ship from their studio in Scotland). I bought 3 garlands, dancing skeletons, bats and a spiders garland and a vertical bat hanging, (no de minimus tariffs if purchased before August 29th). Since these are sold through Anthropologie, if you like that aesthetic there is an even better selection through their website.

I asked the customer service person about the witch candle holders after PB messed up my order and she said unfortunately they weren’t going to restock or be in the stores. I’ve been checking daily to see if the double one randomly restocks but so far no luck.
I found these - or a fake version of them - on the Walmart site, of all places, for only $17ish each. I'm sure it's a scam since a reseller would ask for $$$. But for such a small amount, I was willing to gamble.

Pottery Barn is having an extra 20% off sale and many Halloween items are approaching the 50% off range now.
Thanks for the heads up. I always wanted to pull the trigger on their lit ghosts even though they are probably less than $5 in parts to make these. Even at $50 for some of these, it still feels outrageous to pay this much for gauze and twinkle lights. 😆

Yeah, honestly I haven’t bought any of the floating type decorations from them or anywhere so can’t speak to the quality but they’re probably pretty simple to make 😁

I bought some more iron candle holders, another skeleton and the skeleton hand, a snake candle holder, some more of the skeleton serveware pieces, the terracotta witch hat and some more terracotta pumpkins. I also wanted the ceramic ghosts last year but they sold out quickly so I got two of them as well. They are still expensive but usually at this price things start to sell out so I got what I wanted and I’ve always liked the quality of my PB pieces. I’m probably set on my indoor decorating now though 😊

Debating on pulling the trigger on the skeleton hologram mirror and a couple other items.

I placed an order for the urn but I got a cancellation email today 😢 looks like they allowed to many back orders or they couldn't get them before the new tariff rates.

Just saw this SOLD listing on eBay from August 25th for two of those witch candle holders, it doesn’t even include the shipping which was another $40! With sales tax the total was likely over $400 😳

And here I I felt a bit silly paying almost $60 for one right from PB 😂 It’s a very cool piece at least. I feel confident these will return next year, I still want to get the double that PB messed up on sending me.

Crazy! I bought smaller versions pretending to be the Pottery Barn versions on Wal-Mart... But I still want the real thing and I hope you're right about them coming back next year! I've grown immune to most At Home / Home Goods etc. Halloween wares these days but these witches really captured my eye.
I would be very surprised if they didn’t return seeing how quickly they sold out. They seemingly sold out in a couple days which makes me wonder how many were made.

I noticed this year that a lot of the viral PB stuff from the past two Halloween seasons (which also sold out quickly when initially released) are readily available with most even being on sale now, like the ceramic ghosts which I finally bought.

Went to PB looking for anything Halloween & was underwhelmed. Just a few florals scattered around the store. I thought maybe I was too early but now who knows.
In a few weeks I’ll drive to Terrain in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania.
They always have a beautiful setup. But if you ever get a chance go to the Terrain location near Doyle’s Town, Pennsylvania “GO” because it’s to die for!!

I noticed that none of the Halloween PB items I’ve looked at have been available to pick up in the store (in the Atlanta metro) so it seems like they’re not really stocking anything in the stores, just online? I was hoping to save on shipping costs while I was in town and nothing at any of the stores.

Their online inventory has been the worst out of the whole conglomerate over the past few years I've seen. They'll say 0 available at my local store and I go there and there's like 2 of the pitcher or 10 of a certain glass.

I like the convenience of online shipping with BOPIS but I know I have to haul my butt down there to see in person as well since I've been getting defective items almost every order.
I'm also glad the Klarna app and the Affirm app both allow in-store shopping at Pottery Barn via tap to pay. So I can get the same pay-in-3/pay-in-4 options that I'd normally get on the website.

Maybe I'm just weird but while I like to shop online, I don't enjoy buying online. I want to see the item in person to validate if it is better or worse than the pictures and in the case of stuff not sealed in a box, confirm it isn't damaged. The stores I am referring to that use angry toddlers to pack the shipping boxes know who they are!!

Our visit to Terrain was underwhelming. Don’t get me wrong it’s a gorgeous place & the pumpkins are incredible. Unfortunately we left empty handed because their Halloween was sub par compared to previous years. I did end up buying the Spider Web Trellis online
