When you put it together did you fix the off center legs or are there ones out there with the off center legs and one that don’t.

I was going to ask that same question. That's the only thing that has kept me away from the illusionist. The one I saw at my Lowe's was so off kilter.

I keep waiting for a restock on Casper but that ain't happening & I'm not paying $100 or more for him on the resale sites. Plus, the more I look at him the more I think he's a stupidly designed blow mold. He's holding that pumpkin BEHIND his back, the bit that most people don't see, can't see or want to be seen because that's where the cords are.

If he were holding that thing up front it would be soooo much better & I kinda love that it's Casper, a thing no one has thought about since the 1995 movie. I always loved the cartoons as a kid but that pumpkin behind his back & the black cords are a deal breaker for me right now.

Now if they restocked, gave him a sale price, & my husband wasn't a Fed on furlough or whatever they calling it this time, I'd buy him. I'd get him a white cord because I'd be saving some money on the price but as things stand now, he's a nope for me.

I don’t think we “fixed” anything, but you definitely have to line it all up straight and it’s easy to bump him so a store display might be leaning because of that too. I also think putting something in the cauldron bowl will help adjust him to stand up more straight since that will be more weight on that side. I didn’t notice ours leaning at least.

Maybe it’s the way people are putting it together. I know a few pages back someone had posted that you can bend the poles slightly to line his boots up with his body. If you look at the photo from the official listing on Lowe’s website his boots are off center from his body.
