I just saw this unboxing on YouTube. I feel like it’s very realistic and shows the problems you can have with these giant 12 foot props. Especially if you’re trying to put them up yourself.

Well I’m sorry this guy isn’t going to win the competition for firemen of the year award. He tries to stand that prop up by grabbing it from one side only. That prop is going to spin on you. The way you stand these props up is by using the same method you stand up extension ladders. You grasp both side shoulder height and you walk it up. This prop is probably lighter than the HD 12ft blow molds since it’s mostly fabric so should be fairly easy to stand up compared to those.
Now I understand if you are small in statue or don’t have much upper body strength than definitely you need a second person to help you out, but this guy had totally bad technique. ☹
Edit: I didn’t see the entire video. I noticed he took it down with the base extensions still on. Bad technique. Take the extensions off before bringing the prop down. It’s much easier to bring it down safely. Also add the base extensions after the prop is up vertical.

Hey now! Sometimes a guy has to put them together in the back yard at 11pm all by himself, trying to be quiet and dropping every metal piece known to mankind, freezing like a deer caught in headlights hoping the neighbors don't catch you.... The struggle is real!

I like it. I think it’s a winner. Simple animation not pretentious. Again that hay as hair is ridiculous. I also think is looks more creepy without the hat. I would like him more at $200. Definitely on my list.

The only one I'm interested in is the Cauldron Witch. Apparently, she's made by Gemmy. It will be sad to see a watered down version of the best witch animatronic out there.

I like it, but not at $250. It feels like this would be $100 cheaper for what it is at a different store (especially since it's not outdoor ratedI).
I don't know why anyone makes 7' plus props that are not fully outdoor rated these days. It looks like this one is close and wouldn't require too much work to make it work fine outside.

The only thing that’s obvious to me is the red and yellow rca connectors. They don’t appear to be weather rated. A nice dose of black electrician tape could do the job. The video really doesn’t show the black box closeup so would have to look at it.

I have not been on Lowe’s site for a while so the information I will post below might be old news for lots of people, but I thought maybe some don’t know that these two blow molds are back in stock. On the day Lowe’s did their online drop they went so fast I never saw them.
