Some new prop images have appeared on the decorating fanatics facebook page. So far a 12 foot vampire, 10 foot scarecrow, 10 foot spider archway, jumpscare ghoul, 6 foot groundbreaker, bluetooth DJ skeleton, 7 foot werewolf, plague doctor, balloon animal clown, cauldron witch, giant skull groundbreaker, and a new Emily/Victor set.

Lowe's has put a lot of their Halloween props on sale. I bought my first Lowe's Halloween item after the larger spider dropped to $199. I decided to open the Lowe's credit card to get the extra $40 off. I figured it was worth taking a closer look at $160. I didn't like it at $250, but I'll see once I put it together at the lower amount. This will be an inside decoration for me.

The Illusionist is now $151

I quickly went through this, but this is some of the other stuff that I found. I just took screenshots of them thank you though for letting me know because I wasn’t even thinking of going on Lowe’s so early for a sale.

Finally got into Lowes today & was not impressed. They had a ton of blow molds but the majority were branded things like Mickey & Minnie, Stitch, etc. The only one I'd buy would've been Casper & they didn't have any of those so I bought nothing. I didn't even find any discount plants.

When I saw all this discussion on clown butts yesterday I tried to get an image of a recurring prop Knott's Scary Farm used, a painting of a contortionist clown with a considerable rear shelf, from a YouTube video of Uncle Bobo's Bigtop of the Bizarre. Didn't work, looked too blurry.

UPDATE
I used footage from the more recent Chilling Chambers house for an image, tragically the room it was placed in didn't feature black lights.

I really want the illusionist but my main issue is that all the ones at the stores near me look like the boxes got hit by a bus. I know lowe’s doesn’t use shipper boxes to protect things but when there’s big gashes and tears in boxes i find that to be annoying. I’d hate to have to return and rebuy just to get one that’s not damaged.

Just got my Lowes ultra poseable skelly, and it sucks compared to the HD version. It is basically a standard cheap poseable skeleton with most of the same joints as the HD version, but it is about half the weight, and the joints are very flimsy. Considering that some of the joints either don't work or stick, I would recommend buying a cheaper basic skeleton over this, and definitely the HD version over this one.

For anyone interested, I have had Lowe's 6' Decayed Skeleton on its display stand out 90+ degree sun all week, and it has held this pose and not deformed yet. My HD 7' skeleton would have softened and bent over by now.

Nice pose. Do you think they bench will last? Might buy one if they come back next year. I saw one a couple weeks ago, and I thought about buying it, but the wife said no. As expected, It was gone when I went back yesterday...should have left the wife home in the first place! 😆

Was in Lowe's the other day and while I liked a lot of their props and animatronics, this is the one that I may go ahead and grab. I'm being very circumspect on my buying this year.

Well, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the skull candle AND I bought out all their corn stalks! I can't wait to add those to the yard this year.

Another thing I noticed at my Lowe’s store yesterday was their take on the ultra-posable skeleton. At $45 i do think the HD one is a bit better value being $5 cheaper, however I like the dark paint wash on the lowes version. I prefer variety in my skeletons so I may pick a few up. I wish HD would make some with less “evil” faces and more neutral or different expressions, so my cemetery has more of a mix.

OMG those neon things from Target are as bright as the surface of the sun!! Even with the cellular blinds & drapes covering them the light still leaks out the side so when I put them up I gotta make sure I pick the few that are a little "darker" & I can reach the plug to unplug them at night.

I luv these things. I’ve been buying them since they introduced this technology. I got the cauldron.

That cauldron is super cool! Hey Target, get over here and check this out, that’s how bubbles work!

Is it blindingly bright? I have a Joann’s willow in my office and it is like being in the room with a purple sun ha ha. I hope they have this in my local store, if they ever stock anything, so I can check it out, I hadn’t seen this.

I don't get the love for the Immortal Werewolf. I have it and hate it. It's a pita to put together and take apart, looks like a giant action figure, and it's animation and audio is too short. The only good thing about it to me is it is an outdoor rated prop. I like the Big Lot and Costco 2024 werewolves better than that big plastic piece of junk! Rant over 😆
