I work for Costco in the store, we don’t have any Halloween yet , we do have Xmas bows on the way .

You’re doing fine. Depending on the size of your attachment you need to wait till it completely uploads before posting. Otherwise you get what’s known as the attached postcard image vs a full image showing upin your post. It’s ok, but a reader would have to click on the attachment to see the full image.

Online prices with Costco always includes shipping fees. If you use their app and click the warehouse button at the bottom you can sometimes find the store price and whether it's in stock. It's a feature they finally started rolling out a few months ago but it's very hit or miss at times.

Thank you for the tip about searching warehouses near you for inventory. I had not tried that before. I’m not looking to buy since I have Rattles, but found out no in store stock at all my 11 Costco’s warehouse.

Some stores may now have these in stock. My local store doesn't but one 30 mins away shows in stock. Looks like I'll be running around Indy tomorrow!

Same. I noticed most of the stores in my area got them in stock overnight. I stopped on my way to work to get my first Halloween prop for 2025. The store price is excellent for what you get compared to similar props. Once I'm too old, I'll have to get rid of my giants, but I'll always keep these big ground breakers. If there is one negative. I think the box is even bigger than last year 😂

Driving from south indy to North indy certainly felt like a 3 hour drive! I'm just happy that the one in Castleton had them today as they were right next to microcenter which was my primary (ok, secondary) goal.

I'm proud to say he WILL fit in a 2009 honda accord, just not inside the box but it was close!

He's in my kitchen waiting to be tested and will be put in storage for the time being. I'll send a video, although he's probably going to be armless!

You might as well order it online since the price will be about the same anyway once you factor in paying for gas there and back if it's 3 hours away.

Thanks for creating and sharing the video. I definitely like the updated head on version 2 for this year. I still like version 1 a lot and plan to keep both for a long time. Now if Costco would only sell an updated version of Embers...

Yes, there is a volume knob on the back and it does get very loud. I only had it on for a few times, but I don't think there is any variety in the sounds but I'll double check later. He's still sitting in the kitchen!

The ground breaker is only $10 more in-store compared to last year. It's $30 more online.

For anyone living in Utah interested in the new ground breaker at the cheaper store price, it looks like about all Costco's in Utah have it in stock right now.

Hopefully people, not scalpers, were able to pick up the ground breaker around me. As of the end of last week, every Costco in Utah showed it had stock. Now it's only still available in one store. Costco doesn't do a ton of holiday restocking, but maybe they will in this case since it's still early in the season and it's obviously in demand assuming scalpers didn't buy most of them.

I like the original head better (Party City) on the skeleton groundbreaker but I'm glad Costco is still in the game, and people here are getting them!

My wife texted me from Costco this afternoon and asked if I already had this one. Mind you, I have the original Rattles with none digi eyes. I thought for minute before I texted her back.
I came up with: Yes I do, but the one I have is broken cause its eyes don’t light up.
She laughed and said wrong answer. She didn’t buy it literally 🙁

I do love the face sculpt on this version the more I see it.
