The house IS a luminary apparently! I'm most excited for that black cat though. If my family didn't object, I'd definitely have 100 black cats roaming around. So it's a need.

 

Thank you HP! We can always count on you to show us what BBW has in store for us this Halloween. I am truly loving the black cat, that is a must have. I am very interested in the luminary. I am always grateful that usually whoever designs these haunted houses always includes a jack o lantern out front of the the house. Might wait for that though, I am sure it is pricey. Can't wait to see everything in person.

 

I didn't see this directly from the company but on Reddit someone shared that June 30 will be a members only drop online for the Halloween collection. I like to see items in-store, but sadly, a lot of the popular items are scooped up by scalpers.

 

Thanks for the heads up Mariah, now do I order online or wait until everything hits the stores? I wonder if there is an item that is online only. Last year it was the gazebo. Guess I will have to wait and see.

 

I always order online. Like you said, last year we would have missed out on the gazebo and could probably only find it again on Mercari or eBay for triple price. So far I have had good look with things not being broken, except the wallflowers. I won't order those online because I have had issues with leaks.

 

Hey all! Looks like June 30th is early access for Halloween!

 

I'll order a few things online, not as much as I did last year. I'm going to pace myself and buy only my must haves.

I love them all but will not get the bakery because I plan on getting the three wick candle holder building.

 

I mean no disrespect and don't want to start a fight by asking this but I've seen stories about the Wallflowers catching on fire and was curious if anyone has ever had a problem? They are super cute, especially the cauldron.

 

I’ve been using them for several years and never had an issue, if I’m planning to be away for a few days I will unplug them but I’ve never had an issue, even the one time my husband knocked one out of the wall and then plugged it back in upside down 🤦‍♀️ - it understandably leaked all over after that but nothing serious.

I also sometimes use light up ones as nightlights with no concerns.

So has anyone tried to order today at BBW website? I couldn't log in and after many attempts to reset the password, I gave up and called in an order. I of course got the vampire cat, the globe candle, ghost pedestal and the wall plug witchy cabinet. I have to say I had the best customer service rep, very helpful. There are other things I will probably buy at a later date, maybe in store. I hope everyone else has better luck than I trying to order online.

 

I couldn't order from the app last night. I got a red problem right now message and it wasn't my password so I suspect the site was overloaded. I did manage to order from my PC. Got all my favorites but holding off on the Sweet Shop candle holder at $275. Just not worth it for material used so I will wait for a sale.

 

I didn't find out about the 20% until after I placed my order, story of my life! I would really like to see the luminary in person. Hope they have one in store at least eventually.

 

I think it was an accidental overlap of promotions to be honest, I just happened to wake up and look at my phone before 6AM and was able to get the discount. Typically the new releases come out after 6AM so I wonder if an error was made releasing them earlier like they did.

Some of the wallflower plugs were cute but I have so many Halloween ones from when we could use rewards on them that I focused my funds on the candle holders, if there’s a sale later I have my eye on a few more things.

Haven't received my order from June 30th yet, suppose to arrive today. I am not happy about BBW no longer allowing customers to use their rewards on Pocketbacs or Wallflowers. Looks as though rewards can only be used on body care. What good is a restrictive rewards program!

 

I don't know about in-store, but I was able to order wallflowers on the web site and got a free item even though it was $7.95.

 

I got my luminary today as well as my cat pedestal candle holder and the cake pedestal candle holder. The luminary is beautiful, and man is it heavy! Here’s some basic photos if anyone is on the fence. The paint job on mine was really well done, so many details and it was pricey but I think well worth it. I was able to score it with the 20% promo that overlapped with the early preview.

Also so thankful these expensive pieces come with their own boxes and styrofoam packaging, our lazy FedEx driver literally dropped it on the side of the road at the bottom of our driveway, thankfully husband was home and ran down to get it.

 

275 for a candle holder have they had in years past a piece that expensive?

 

Last year's was also $275

The year before that it was $250

In 2022 it was $200 but it was also much shorter

Because in 2021 it was $250 and the large style (this one is my fav but alas I wasn't collecting anything during the covid era).

 

Ridiculous.I had sticker shock. But I did buy some soap I stock up to use all year and antibacterial pacs with the toad holder.And the cat scent plug that’s to cute.
