I got a membership survey today. Looks like they're looking to revamp their reward system. I chose program 1 as my first choice mainly because of the free ship-to-home (their rewards program before, I was only in it for the 20% off coupon. Legit didn't use anything else).

Far too often there would be a Halloween item in stock on the website but local inventory says 0 and I go to the store and they have like 7 on the shelf.
Like c'mon companies, if you want your seasonal merch to MOVE you gotta have a robust and accurate BOPIS/inventory system. People can't spend money if they don't know they can get it. People are not going to go out of their way to do a lookie loo unless they live directly in the line of driving near your store. Your stores are HUGE and in weird locations. Your inventory doesn't change like say HomeGoods/TJMaxx/Marshalls which differs weekly (which are often grouped together on the same plaza sometimes with a Burlington or Ross so people feel like they get their "out of the way" trip's worth when they can hit up 3 stores within walking distance of the parking lot).

Halloween in April/May, seriously, come on. As much as I love Halloween, I don't want to see anything in the stores this early. This means we'll start seeing Christmas **** in June then.
I do see your point however I like to try to budget month by month so for me it’s helpful when stores put their Halloween stuff out at different times.

Yep, At Home or Big Lots would usually be the earliest to put stuff out (not including the Home Depot early sales).

I do agree. At Home would start Halloween in May then by July they'd move it back a couple aisles for Christmas. Not exaggerating that either.

It is wrong to have Halloween out this early (but if they do, some of it will invariably follow me home, especially if there are any of those blasted houses UGH!) but Christmas in July is also messed up. It is so wrong to be fa la la la laing in shorts and a tank top!

Last year, one of the At Home employees told me they got Halloween and Christmas in simultaneously and were told to get it all on the shelves. Their response was "Where?" It was pretty funny honesty because there was literally nowhere to have both holidays fully out together although I did my part to clear some shelves! The real question is if the Big Lots stores that are on the list to reopen will open before Halloween stocking time (provided they still have a big Halloween offering).

My local At Home was already moving Halloween out of the way during the first week of October to start stocking a little bit more fall harvest but primarily christmas.
The Christmas display was fully set up by November 3rd.

Usually it was always a waiting game waiting for summer furniture to clearance so it'd move to make way for Halloween. Having trouble imagining Halloween taking space like that already.

I wonder if at the start it will be Halloween (for easy marketing) but then pivot more towards 'the modern witch' gothy decor year-round? Like what Michael's was considering doing before the whole....tariff & tariff adjacent situation.

I stopped at my store on the way home and no Halloween. Thought it wouldn't hurt since I have to pass by it home anyway and I too live in Ohio.

If you change your zipcode to Dallas, Texas (their headquarters) it shows pickup available for the dragon statue and crow lamp. Ostie is showing out of stock for them too BUT it does toggle an email notification and the ability to change the zip code on the product page.
