Found the bats at Ross, took them off the chain & temporarily attached them to the GR fence. I gotta admit ~ I like them

Also found these these very detailed Cast Iron bats on marble squares. So I deconstructed them & welded one to a metal pole.They turned out very nicely & will definitely be in the garden this Halloween

See now the singular bat on pedestal is the quality I'm used to from Ross. It's all pot metal in a mold so that kind of detail really adds 'umpf' for virtually no additional manufacturing cost.

The new “Bats on chain” are art deco & lightweight. They have potential so I bought 3 sets & will buy more if I find them.

Any item regardless of where it’s from, what it looks like or how much it costs ~ is all about how creatively you use it.

btw - I used a rubber hammer to remove the Big Bats off the marble block. Gently tap the bat Counter Clock wise to loosen bottom bolt.

@Kdestra , I have some more shopping to do on Sunday but I bought a lot of the 3-hanging-bats for you! Stores in my area just stocked so I've cleaned them out. Will get a final count tomorrow night and you can decide how many you want to keep and I'll return the rest since the receipts are good for 30 days. IDK how long your fence was so I thought better safe than sorry to get them all.

Also I'm jelly of your wicker hat. The glossy black wicker this year is amazing from them. I'll post later but I got a little witch lady and spider (which I will attach with a chain so it'd be like her big dog) done in that same wicker.
