What's everyone hoping for or predicting for Christmas 2024 home depot me I'm hoping for either ornament stacks 7ft back for one more year or replaced by stacked snowman heads the 8ft Santa back but with an 8ft snowman or a 5 or 4 ft elf holding a lantern to go with the Santa the reindeer 4ft animatronic bring it back but to make it fresh make it look like the 2021 2022 light brown reindeer blow mold. As for the reindeer blow mold 4 ft bring back the dark brown 2020 or the 2021 light tan and repaint it dark brown the blissful figures the bear is great with the puffer either bring him back repainted with a blue puffer for one !ore year or keep the character but change the mold same thing with the mouse but the mouse would be great in red as he'd look great next to the 2022 mouse the snowman looks great but give him a cup of hot chocolate and a top hat the polar bear have him holding a wreath maybe give the mouse and the snowman a wreath as well although my favorite is tangled in lights as it goes great with my decor so hopefully those characters tangled in lights the Santa is my favorite Santa blow mold ever have him going down the chimney or cookies and milk or a stocking the rabbit replace with a raccoon the sheepdog give a sweater the golden one more year as a repaint with a green puffer instead of red and the bernease dress in a Santa suit and bring in some more breeds like a husky or saint Bernard or I'd prefer a German or white American shepherd as I have a female name Macy that spends all day watching me decorate the exterior outside so her tangled in lights would be awesome maybe bring in a elf or a 2.5 ft reindeer instead of a 4 ft that looks like the pan Asian 4 ft but is the dak 2.5 instead with a sleigh to go with it

 

Nothing up to this point. Since the HD managers meeting is roughly a month away I’m sure some leaks will come from that gathering. I too, am waiting to see what they come up with to complement that 8ft Santa from last year.

 

I hope someone sneaks some pics of their Christmas stuff this year from the Managers meeting. Last year we only got sneak pics of the Halloween stuff, which is great, but I love both holidays, so I'd love to see both!

I was looking so hard at the background of last years' pics I was like - Oh, I think I see a new Christmas bunny blowmold - and a tropical Santa.

 

I agree with you pro50ho hopefully we see more Christmas although I just found out if we post in a Halloween thread about Christmas its called "trolling" I just wanted to see some new Christmas characters

 

This is a Halloween forum, not a general holiday forum. While a single thread discussing Christmas goods is fine (especially as we get closer to the holiday), I see no reason for there to be a store-specific Xmas thread in a Halloween forum when there are plenty of Xmas-themed forums out there in the world. I recommend you go to those if Halloween is not your thing.

I have nothing against Christmas, I love Christmas, but why is the administration on here allowing for the creation of Christmas themed threads on a Halloween thread? What's stopping someone from making a Lowe's Christmas thread? I didn't want this to happen and my Home Depot thread had "Halloween" added to the title, which I think the mods did to spite me because I voiced my opinion on the Facebook groups. Honestly, the fact that two Home Depot Christmas threads are allowed on here makes me feel that this forum is co-opted by the Home Depot Facebook groups, and I'd prefer it if their influence remained on Facebook.

 

Ok well i dont know where to post this but here's a question I've been after a white German shepherd decoration for Christmas outside other than a yard sign something more like a tinsel or blow mold or resin well home depot has Christmas husky black and white what if I spray painted the husky black fur white tinsel is aluminum right and you can buy spray paint to cover that right? Just wanted to see if I could before I made the purchase

Again- the primary focus of this forum is for Halloween, not for Christmas. While there may be some tangential discussions on xmas as the holiday approaches, this is not the place to be discussing xmas less than two months after the holiday, just as I would not be discussing Halloween in a xmas forum with a name like Count Darkus Evilius. AKs your question in the forum I posted- they are happy to discuss xmas year round. This is not the place.

Reindeer, there won't be any Christmas leaks until July at the earliest.

 

I don't know about anyone else but as long as the Christmas stuff doesn't spill over into the Halloween threads I realized that, after buying a new laptop at the end of last year, I can use my mouse wheel and scroll past things that do not interest me.

 

This. And I understand I'm an online horse who drinks from somebody else's forum trough, but IMO, Halloween and Christmas decorations/preparation go hand in hand. When Jack Skellington wore both a Halloween suit and a Santa outfit in Nightmare Before Christmas, the holidays were forever bonded.

I know that's just a movie, but movies are modern storytellers and help shape our culture and society (right or wrong).

I personally don't mind the Christmas posts as long as the poster contributes to Halloween content as well. Just my 2 cents. 🍺

In 2023 my Distortions thread was moved to a Sub-Topic. We were were having a great discussion on New Props & BOOM the Discussion was gone. We weren't informed beforehand & we never received communication until we inquired. So maybe the administration did that to Spite me as well View attachment 788856

I've moved the Xmas posts into a separate thread in our store sightings section. Would be super if folks interested in Lowes and HD's Xmas stuff post there so I don't have to weed them out of the Halloween one.

And we allow Xmas discussions because lots of folks use decor from that holiday in their Halloween displays and many decorate hard core for Xmas too. If someone doesn't like Xmas, then I hope having it in a different thread that you don't have to look at is satisfactory.

I have one of him, but I wasn't thrilled with how quickly the red parts stopped looking nice. It was already pealing the first year I put him out. All of the other colors held up, though.

 

If you could list it on eBay or mercari for me I'd appreciate it I need 7 I only have two and am trying to build a sleigh team of 9 I like having a sleigh team of 9 for each variation and I've done that with the grey and light brown now I'm trying to do that with dark brown it came out in 2020 which was also the year of covid so I wasn't going to the stores as much hopefully someone has him to sell or he gets rerelease from home depot

You do understand you’re going to pay a pretty penny on Ebay for those items and the shipping charges are going to be excessive. Can I give you a suggestion? Why not wait till the HD Xmas stuff comes out. There is a good possibility that HD will bring the reindeer back and with some luck it might be the brown version you are looking for. The cost will probably be half of what you are going to pay for on Ebay not to mention saving yourself those shipping charges. You might even look at painting the gray versions of these if that is what HD brings back this year. It will be a fraction of what you might have to pay for these items if you get them from EBay or Mercari at this point.

 

Yeah that happens sometimes on the two I have for me it didn't guess its environment and weather. Will u be selling him if so how much and could u do eBay or mercari please. If not I understand just I was hoping someone here would have one to sell but I'd appreciate I'm a blow mold collector and he's one of my favorite molds I'd buy him from u if that's the only issue I don't care if he lights or not as I convert them anyways to light from within with a blow mold cord and A19 bulb

There is a method to the madness. Don’t expect to see much of the Christmas lineup at this point. The pictures you will see will be of lower quality and very selective of some of the props. It will tilt heavily towards Halloween. It’s intended to give you a general idea of what’s coming for Halloween. As for a Christmas reindeer I would expect it to be available again this year.

Yeah I think I'd like to see All new Christmas peices this year although I wouldn't mind an 8ft Santa or 7.5 ft stacked ornaments again for a reindeer it would be interesting to see instead of pan Asian DAK 3 ft weighted it could be standing on a mound of snow hoping either way though its dark brown with a wreath around its neck and jingle bell harnesses be curious to see if they do anymore blow molds that's musical other than the nutcracker or what about a Jack frost blow mold
