Thanks to @Halloween-Goddess I'm buying a Haunted tree from Distortions.
It looks extremely well made. Has anyone ever experienced a problem with them? How is customer service? Thank you.

I have been collecting Distortions props since they started up. I still have Maniac after almost 2 decades, and he has stood up to all types of weather in that time. As I mentioned on the Home Depot thread, I have two of these haunted trees, and they are incredible. Pricey, but incredible. They are also very very large, much bigger than they look in the video. I also added the pumpkin witch , and two of their bone piles this year. They only had the bone piles on for a few weeks this year and then they removed them. I am not sure why, but mine are huge and very cool looking. I repacked them but I soon will be doing a UV protection on them since they will be out for the whole month of October and will post photos then. I also like the fact that although they are pricey, they are made in the US.

I'm very addicted to Distortions stuff. First they look incredible and there is no doubt they are well built and built to last. Sure, they cost a little more, but when you consider the life span of props from HD, Spirit, Lowes, etc (and I buy that stuff too) it's totally worth it. Here are some pics of some of their stuff so you can get a better look at detail and stuff.

Bought an older "laughing hag" Distortions animated prop from Oriental Trading based on someone on this forum saying it was a good price and great quality. It was marked down to $199 which is a really good price for a company that will ship to Canada. When I received it one of the electrical connections had come loose. I emailed the Distortions support and they literally responded within 10 minutes telling me how to reattach it. It is of excellent quality and am so happy to have my first animatronic. I may not be in the big leagues but it will go with my homemade green bubbling cauldron. I hope to get another prop when I can afford one and it will be by Distortions. Very happy with the support from this company.

Omg! Did you see the life-size Edgar Allan Poe prop? Edgar Allan Poe
I'm not buying this year but i might actually buy it next year

Don't get me wrong, I still love to looking at all the Halloween props & merch at HD, Spirit, etc. But I haven't been happy with the quality.

Does anyone know why we were moved to this section? Distortions is a small company & could use the support. What's the difference between our Distortions thread & Grandin Road or Oriental Trading? I'm sure there's more people in the Halloween Forum who've never heard of this company. They'll never find this thread

I have purchased 26 props from Distortions and I just got notified that my 27th has just shipped. With all those props, I did have some minor issues with some of the props like missing or damaged components. All issues were resolved to my complete satisfaction with a simple email to Distortions. Their customer service is excellent. They really do care that their customers are happy with their products.

Distortions is wonderful I have had a few issues with a couple of the props but the customer service is great. I haven’t bought from them directly this year still deciding what I want. I got franky last year and the jack widow and the jack man with the knife and my graveyard ghoul. Last year was a big distortions purchase year for me . I did get twisted from Walmart for 69 In March. I have two of the moving tombstones and one that has the women behind the stone I can’t think of her name and jack stalker. My first purchase tho was bad Betty I still love her today.Ive had her her over 10 years .I’ve seen edger poe he is awesome. I know I want the new witch but can’t decide on getting some pumpkins or the wolf or nofestro vampire. I’ll end up with the all at some point but unsure what I’ll get this year.

The Haunted Tree arrived!!! It's amazing!! I know people were talking about the flat back but that is exactly what we need when we install it on the porch roof. For now the tree is on our screened in porch & has friends to keep him company. There's a crescent moon behind him & it has inspired me to actually create a full moon.

p.s. The Black Cat is from Spirit Halloween

I had ordered mine back in Feb. The Bone Pile was only up for a short time. When I had noticed that the Bone Pile was removed from Distortion's website I emailed them on April 1st to check to make sure I was still going to get mine. Marsha emailed back and said that the Bone Pile was made temporarily unavailable until they could get them in production. She said that they would start shipping in April and then start taking new orders afterward. I just got mine today so I don't know going on. Maybe they are swamped right now fulfilling current orders.

I have a great deal of Distortion props, and I mix them with HD props and Morris Costumes props. It is true that during the daytime, the Distortion props will look a bit better, but as it gets dark, the difference is not apparent. Here are two photos, one is in front of the house where I have the Pumpkin Stalker combo and two jack widows. Behind them are three HD 12 foot props and two pumpkin stacks. In the cemetery I have a gothic gravestone, moving monument and demon rising. I have a couple of HD tombstones, the ghostly bride, and even some cheaper stuff mixed in. I put a couple of photos in so that you could be the judge.
