Im planning to make a maze this year. I was thinking of making it out of PVC and black painters plastic to make the entire maze enclosed and as dark as posable.

I wanted to see if any of you have some pointers before I start gathering all the things that are needed.

I live in florida and the ground has coral rock under the surface. I have allready tried hammering a wood stake in the gound to try and then just a PVC pipe over the stake to keep it in place. However after going 3 to 4 inchs in the ground the wood stake hit the coral rock and actualy broke. Now im thinking maybe metal rebarb would work.

If you have trouble getting the rebar to penetrate the coral substrate, try renting a Percussion Drill for a few hours. These babies use a hammer action in addition to spinning. You'll need a bit the same diameter as the rebar. A Hammer Drill easily penetrates concrete, so you'll have no problem getting the rebar to go in.
