Halloween Hanging Props?

I'm seeing fewer and fewer hanging-style props in favor of expensive animatronics and stand-alones these days. I've had a lot of fun with them and have a small collection, so I'm not bothered by the trend towards fewer hanging props, just perplexed. I know lots of die hard yard haunters don't seem very enthused about Party City's old Halloween props and decorations, but they were always good for new hangers. I saw a couple of 3 foot ones in Spirit Halloween today, but they were 'meh'.
Attached are a couple of 12ft hanging props I own. Also have a giant clown one that must have had an effect, as trick-r-treaters asked about it the following year when I didn't put it out. Also attaching a couple of random hangers from catalogs as examples.

I've had a few problems with cheap cloth hangers getting torn up with wind and other weather conditions. Wound up reskinning a ghost's blank foam head and arms with trash bags and a gas mask, making the HAZMAT Ghoul.

I'd love to make more but I'd need to figure out the "bodies". And the cloths.

We do have a bunch of hanging ghosts and other characters that stick around. One recurring issue I've had, though: be wary with anything battery powered that does more than light up. A bunch of the cheaper ones are trigger-happy with tinny, repetitive cheesy audio. Some that I've wanted to make a scene - the Spirit Vibrating Plague Doctor, the Target Pumpkin Ghoul with the projected face - failed to go off all night and didn't do squat the next year. At least they still look pretty neat.

I'm fortunate in that I have tall pines I can hang mine from. The first pic is an example of the hanging ghost I used for my graveyard last year. Worked pretty well, but I limited it's movement a little too much with the ground stakes. Will allow it a little more movement in the breezes this year.
Also, a pic of that 12ft clown from one year and the "burnt ghoul" shown in the original post used like a "Killroy was here" on my backyard fence.

I agree, I've noticed this trend as well. What's been available these past few years have been very disappointing; small and just plain cheap looking. The hangers definitely serve a purpose, I have used them hanging from trees and on gates, etc. I have some animatronic pieces but I have to put them out the "day of" Halloween otherwise they will be torn up by the wind or stolen or vandalized. You have some awesome decorations, I love how huge they are!

You could check out here at Hauntedprops.com. I have purchased from them in the past. They are OK but not great.
EDIT: The link that I gave lands you on page 3 of their hanging props. HERE is the link for page 1.

A homemade tree mounted ghoul of sorts was one of the first things I made, perhaps even before joining the forum. It was simple T made from purely scrap lumber, some cheesecloth, blow molded skull and skeleton hands. Dyed cloth with black spray paint to differentiate from the main dyed colour. The cloth was stapled on the back after being draped simply over the wooden T and skull hung by stiff wire. Highlighted last minute by an old halogen style flood light, it turned out to be one of the biggest attractions to the yard. And I hadn't even had a start yet with nearly anything else.
It has since found its way long time ago thrown away. As simple as it was, it was seemingly the main attraction. And has someone else said, the cheesecloth material was an absolute magnet for the fall leaves and tree debris.
I've always watched the stores for the mass produced ones and while the pieces they used for features and colours for the fabrics was attractive, the price for the size was always a turn off. For less than $15 at the time, I came up with something nearly "life size". Anything since has been at least twice the price and I just can't justify them.

Seeing the hype in this thread, and years since has had me considering a rebuild. The hurdle comes in needing a tree to hang it from and the current yard space doesn't offer anything like it.

I still love them. Oh course, I make my own
