Love the masks! and that is a great place to display them. Hmmmm.......maybe age or dirty up the webs a bit . Or maybe tattered black creepy cloth as the backdrop

Thank you for that idea, I have plenty of different colored creepy cloth, and I never thought of using it.

I had posted a photo of some retro masks I had bought to go along with Target’s vac forms. View attachment 804051

I did finally get them up and I’m not sure about this display, I will probably rework it. Part of the problem is that this is the least favorite wall in my house. As you can see, it’s a fireplace with bricks surrounding it. I want to either paint the brick wall white or do what I believe is referred to as German smear on it. I just need to have enough in my budget to have a professional come in and fix it if I mess it up. I also ran out of the clips that you use on the bricks so I didn’t want to put up any more beef netting yet. This is also used as my workout room. Anyway, long winded explanation. The camera on my phone is dying and the camera is having trouble with lighting
Ok, I love the brick! I had a wall in my old house and it was brick and after we moved out the landlord painted it and it broke my heart! The display looks awesome!

Black would make the colors pop!!
I thought black was a great idea, and it still is, however, when I went to dig out my creepy cloth it’s all the way in the back of my storage barn. Happens every year… the stuff I need to decorate is always stored in hardest to reach area. So now I have the debate whether I want to buy more black creepy cloth or just wait a couple of months until I start gathering things for my Halloween displays.

I am of the opinion that you can never have enough black creepy cloth.

Hey, does anyone know or remember from last year when Target puts out their Halloween merchandise? I procrastinated and didn't get a few things online and now they are gone. So looks like I will need to make a store run. I would appreciate any insight, thanks!

In all the years that I’ve shopped at Target their Halloween is not put up in store until after the back to school stuff is done with. I don’t know if that’s going to change this year. As nothing is normal with Halloween drops.

Thank you Kermit! I believe that is the case here where I am also. Back to school takes up that whole back right corner of the store. That's disappointing as some stores start in July or August.

I'm in SoCal and our stores seem to take forever! I think it's usually after Labor Day our Targets set up and it's been years since I've seen a fully set Target display in store. I do think the in stock notifications work really well at Target though, especially if you allow notifications on your phone. I've had good luck over the years being able to do a store pickup or online order with Halloween I couldn't find on display.

Many thanks SIS! I realize the back to school time is a real money maker for retail. But I just wish Target could cater a bit more to us Halloween lovers! I haven't tried the in stock notifications, this might be the year for that! I appreciate the suggestion.

Pretty sure they added a good chunk of what they'll be offering, though some of it seems to be set to actually be available 8/3 or 8/14. Disappointed their mini mantle line seems to have been scuttled in favor of ceramics, so if someone finds that I just missed them, please let me know. As it is, I rolled the dice to see if any of the ceramics show up not broken.

OMG there's a new vacuform!!

Just ordered that cat, a paper Frankie & the 3 little ceramic witches. Also put a bunch of stuff on "Notify me" but they're not always great at that so we'll see how they go.
