Your store has SO much more inventory than the two I've gone to. Thanks so much for doing this, I really appreciate it. Now I know it is worth the hassle to find one. My preference is to always score stuff in person vs ordering to minimize breakage especially since it sounds like the receipt is sometimes the only packing material ha ha.

So I call my store about the castle and she says they have 0 but another store almost 40 minutes away has 7. Call to confirm and the lady told me it wasn’t a valid item number. I didn’t tell her it was valid at my store 2 minutes before and was also good at her store a week ago when I called. She said they had nothing in the store that matched the description I gave, I even told her it was with the non-Lemax miniatures, she said they didn’t have it. Decided to chance it anyway. They had them and now I have one!

I looked for the snail with crystals on its back for y’all but no luck. Saw a basic green snail though.

Clown spiders? Why does this ghost have orange balls on his legs? Thought the kittens in the tub were cute.

Smaller than expected but still cute in a creepy way. You can't bet the legs down where it joins the torso. Only the elbow and wrist joints. I'm going to buy two later.

Michael's is sure doing a new record for me. Another free delivery package, another broken item. I decided to order two of the small fox skellies since that one store I saw them at sold out and I didn't want to have buyer's regret. Anyway, today's order had 1 fox skelly missing it's jaw. There was no loose jaw in the box. It was packaged missing it.
 
Well, I can attest to the rabbit tray in the Alice’s Adventures collection being well made, they literally threw it in this huge box with a sheet of some bubble wrap and somehow it survived by a miracle. When I saw this huge box on my doorstep I was wondering if I had ordered something large and forgotten, nope, it was my barely 12” tall item in a box at least twice that size on all sides with zero packaging. My Dead Regency candlesticks weren’t so lucky unfortunately, those arrived shattered, that was a second shipment with no packaging materials (note to Michael’s: dried decorative moss in the box is not a substitute for skipping bubble wrap).

I know Michael’s is trying to win over Joann’s shoppers but I don’t think imitating their packing methods is the best way to do that.

Joking aside, I really hate to see product waste like this because of such poor and just flat out lazy packaging, it’s so terrible for the environment that this stuff ends up in a landfill because it’s broken. I try to repurpose what I can but I feel guilty throwing away when I can’t, and looking at other reviews this is common so I won’t be ordering from Michael’s again if I can’t get it in the store. I stopped shopping online at Joann’s for that reason too.

I returned my broken stuff at a store I don't frequent that much and was browsing the shelves for the new Alice stuff and the workers super glued my old pieces and put it back on the shelf for sale. Like bruh, at least put it on clearance or something.

That’s terrible if they tried to pass it off as new quality after gluing it back together. I just emailed them photos of the broken candlesticks so hopefully they refund me quickly. I’m not going to bother ordering those to ship again and they don’t seem to be in the stores unfortunately.

I always check items closely to make sure I'm not buying something damaged but this is a whole different level! I would be 17 different kinds of hostile if I was sold something as new that was formerly broken. Not even remotely cool!

Did you look underneath where the battery compartment is to see if there was a little plastic pull-tab that needed to be removed so that the battery makes a connection?
 
@Mameshiba Still recommend rolling $5 coupons by placing a $35 order each day? Or is there another coupon scheme that works better? I'm picking up some stuff now that everything is 40-50% off. Will go lower to 60% closer to Halloween I imagine.

I know you prefer using the $5 coupons when you pick up, but I'm reading the T&C's for the $5 reward, and it just says there's a limit of one $5 reward earned per day.

Yup that's still the best scheme so far especially with the additional 10% senior discount stack. The rewards run through next week. So just one order a day accumulates them into your profile. The senior discount can only be used once a day too. So I usually place my BOPIS order right after midnight so the manager before the store opens fufills it (or if something is wrong with inventory, pings me that an item was cancelled. Which lets me know I need to call the store when it opens for them to cancel my whole BOPIS order b/c I won't get the full $5 reward if I pickup my order. I then place a new order the next night for another store which should have that missing item.)
