Has anyone seen this lamp? Nmp

At Home was supposed to carry the same one

Haven't seen it in-stores but Michael's at MSRP is still cheaper. I adore how it looks like Lily of the Valley

@Mameshiba 30% off right now. Any chance they go 40%? I know you can never combine a % off with a coupon, unless you use rewards. Any tips for getting these little guys even cheaper?

Potentially. Last year during the week of August 19th there was a 40% off seasonal lighting sale for online/BOPIS orders. The week prior Halloween Picks/floral was 50% off. Since it's a flat item sale that means our 10% senior discount hack would stack on it--thus making it a 46% off discount.

For 2025 the picks/floral is 40% off right now. So it seems like probability is high that next week they will be 50% off. And the week after would be lighting's turn to be 40%.

what's the 10% senior discount hack? I am only 55 but my boobs are dropping faster than that Lily of the Valley so I think I qualify.
Their senior discount starts at 55!
Log into your account. And fill out the form, all they do is piggyback public voting data that your name matches your birth date and zipcode.
I did my mom's name, DOB, and zipcode instead and of course the email is my Michael's email.

The approval is pretty much instant. So then online an in-store you will always have an automatic 10% off discount "at worst". If you have a coupon code, that will override the discount. But if it's a site-wide sale, then they stack. The discount only works once per day (I can't remember if it's once per day per account or if it's once per day online and once per day in store where you could potentially use it twice in a day. If you do a second purchase or something, it just won't apply the senior discount at checkout so you'd know instantly. I think I might test this later since my local stores have those self checkouts so I could just be like 'oops I changed my mind).

Here is an example with the 40% off fall florals. This item is a site-wide sale so it's $5.99

After I add it to cart the Senior Discount is auto-applied on top making it $5.39 instead.

If you do the 'once a day' Rewards crawl the $40 minimum is before tax but after the discounts.

So if just doing the flowers I'd have to buy 8 (5.99*8=47.92 with 10% off it's $43.12) in order to get $10 in rewards money (and if girl mathing the $10 rewards from this total as if you were doing a time travel situation essentially acts as an additional 23% off coupon as long as you stick to being as close to $40 as possible to always meet the minimum for the rewards crawl).

So for your skelly cat lights....
MSRP $34.99
40% off=$20.994
Buy two = $41.988
10% senior discount = $37.7892
Ehhh so roughly $2-3 short of meeting the $40 minimum. Maybe a halloween pick as a cart filler, or some glue for crafts? I sometimes do tissue paper for like gift bags. Other times I've done like a soda or snack https://www.michaels.com/shop/party/candy-snacks/snacks-beverages
And then you'd get a juicy $10 reward 24-28hrs later.

Thank you so much!! I didn't know about the other either. I AM officially old after all.
Too bad I already bought those skull lamps
[/QUOTE]
You can always do it towards a future receipt flip;)
Something you want in the future and the skull lamps become a cart filler. Then when you go pick up your BOPIS order from the rack you immediately return the skull lamps on your older receipt. That way the inventory is still brand new and goes back on the shelf for the next customer instantly.
Same with sales that go deeper, some stores get like 2 of an item and others get like 10+ and sit all the way to clearance.
It's no different than stores that do price adjustments, they don't 'refund' you the difference, they themselves return your original purchase and immediately re-ring it up at the discount. So it's the same "inventory level didn't actually change" and you get some money back.

I kinda treat it like a brain teaser, keeps the noggin' oil greased since different stores have different return windows. Michael's is 60 days. At Home is also 60 days unless you are a perks member, then it's 90. And of course exclusions to seasonal, some have them, some don't (like JoAnn's rest in peace).

Saw the reviews for the stain glass lamp. It's so ugly lit up! I thought it would be purple witchy not 90s Pizza Hut!!

I'm also getting super frustrated with the Wishlist on the website. It refuses to add more than 1 item to a specific named wishlist after I log in.

Wow the box art makes it look so much better than real life. Feel like I could DIY it with some dollar store plastic skulls. I was thinking it was going to me maybe resin or something.

Oh that's too bad. It looks like it could be a really nice piece if it were made well. I also hate that everything is switching to battery or USB. Just give me a plug!

Finally stopped at a store and they didn't have much out but I'm so disappointed at the amount of AI slop they are using. You think they would have learned their lesson last year when tiktokers put them on blast (for also including the ai watermark too, they didn't even PAY for a subscription and violated the ai generator's Terms of Service since commercial sales of generated content are not allowed).

Honestly, this year is something of a watershed moment. I am noticing a lackluster approach by retailers in which they are reissuing old pieces in a new color (Michael's all white Halloween line now has some of the same in black) and blatant copies of other companies (an IGer says a TJMaxx brand TOTALLY ripped off her art - and it isn't pretending to be different. It was HER art; she is sp00kshowbabe on IG). I am noticing knock offs of Katherine's Collection et al (not what they licensed but something LIKE some piece she once did). It feels like retailers are just throwing junk at us, expecting us to buy it.
