Just got my Lowes ultra poseable skelly, and it sucks compared to the HD version. It is basically a standard cheap poseable skeleton with most of the same joints as the HD version, but it is about half the weight, and the joints are very flimsy. Considering that some of the joints either don't work or stick, I would recommend buying a cheaper basic skeleton over this, and definitely the HD version over this one.
I almost got him too, I'm glad I passed. Thanks for the review.

I got my illusionist. He was super easy to put together but I did notice his shoulders were off set from the boots, making him look disconnected. I just pushed on the metal rod some to bend it a bit and make his top half line up It made it look a lot better, I'm happy I got him.
I had noticed that in every video I have seen for it. At least it can be fixed.

I really want the illusionist but my main issue is that all the ones at the stores near me look like the boxes got hit by a bus. I know lowe’s doesn’t use shipper boxes to protect things but when there’s big gashes and tears in boxes i find that to be annoying. I’d hate to have to return and rebuy just to get one that’s not damaged.

Oh wow. Mine didnt have a single problem with the box. It was in great condition. Your pictures look like someone running the forklift did not give a single eff.

Between Lowes and Home Depot, this years overall theme seems to be crushed merchandise.

We finally put together, Lowe’s Handstand Cliwn. He was purchased when he went on sale last year. My husband is more of the clown person than I am, but I like him! And I especially like that he has a butt! No, I do not have a clown fetish I just like when the props have some substance to them!😏

That doesn't sound like a clown fetish at all, it does however, sound like a butt fetish. 😳 Just kidding! 😂🤣😂

I agree, he's one of the lesser emaciated props.

Just chiming in to remind myself that last year on Oct 1 a select few animatronics were discounted at a reasonable discount.
Other items started discounting in waves afterwards (my main purchase was Oct 13 for the discounted JoLs)
Super mega discounted 75% off sales on virtually everything was close to midnight the day before Halloween. To lock in those BOPIS orders.

Their inventory/BOPIS is dependent on your location and only does like 4 stores out. So my local zip code shows this for Balloon Clown.

I have to manually cycle through other reasonably-to-drive-to city zipcodes to find one with stock.
Unlike HD which will show you all stores like 100+ miles out.

Here I randomly chose a zipcode that's close to the capital. It has two available.

If I go back to the zip code picker and pick the next closest store. It will tell me it has none BUT let's me check other stores now.

Which pops out a menu shows my original good pick but also another store.

When I saw all this discussion on clown butts yesterday I tried to get an image of a recurring prop Knott's Scary Farm used, a painting of a contortionist clown with a considerable rear shelf, from a YouTube video of Uncle Bobo's Bigtop of the Bizarre. Didn't work, looked too blurry.

UPDATE
I used footage from the more recent Chilling Chambers house for an image, tragically the room it was placed in didn't feature black lights.

Was in Lowe's the other day and while I liked a lot of their props and animatronics, this is the one that I may go ahead and grab. I'm being very circumspect on my buying this year.

Well, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the skull candle AND I bought out all their corn stalks! I can't wait to add those to the yard this year.

Finally got into Lowes today & was not impressed. They had a ton of blow molds but the majority were branded things like Mickey & Minnie, Stitch, etc. The only one I'd buy would've been Casper & they didn't have any of those so I bought nothing. I didn't even find any discount plants.

Lowe's has put a lot of their Halloween props on sale. I bought my first Lowe's Halloween item after the larger spider dropped to $199. I decided to open the Lowe's credit card to get the extra $40 off. I figured it was worth taking a closer look at $160. I didn't like it at $250, but I'll see once I put it together at the lower amount. This will be an inside decoration for me.

The Illusionist is now $151

I quickly went through this, but this is some of the other stuff that I found. I just took screenshots of them thank you though for letting me know because I wasn’t even thinking of going on Lowe’s so early for a sale.
