I can see that but what Mike and myself want to find out is the original poster implied that the sea diver and sea captain were coming back with some new features. If true what are those new features? Those links are from last year’s props.

He meant new feature photos. Lowe’s props usually have a stock photo with text that lists their features. He meant that there are new ones of these photos. At least that’s how I understood it.

That's the way I took it as well. I just don't see either one of those has actually having sold out last year so I doubt they did some sort of upgrade on them, and are bringing back leftover stock plus some extra new stock to meet a certain stocking quantity.

Lowes is closing all of their stores for Easter, but considering the source MSN, not a financial site like FT, or Wall Street Journal, and the author, who claims she is some sort of business consultant, and may actually live in South Africa, is it actually true or are they closing a few stores which are dumps or in areas prone to shoplifting like every other retailer in the US whether they admit it or not?

I can see Lowe's shutting down some of its smaller or less profitable stores. That's just good business and with the tariffs and inflation, I see a lot of companies trimming the fat right now. I doubt it will be any near me, as I don't live in a very rural area, but I think that there were some I read about in North Carolina that were closing.

All of the Lowe's stores in Utah are closing on Easter Sunday. I believe this is company wide and not just Utah. This isn't fake news since this is supposedly the sixth year in a row they have done this.

The following stores will be closed on Easter, per USA Today.

Last year I thought Lowe’s’ prices were bad, but it didnt bother me too much given that i was able to get things like the captain and the diver at 75% off, but this year is just ridiculous, $600 for the bone collector is pure insanity, especially for a prop in its second year. People claim tariffs which may very well be the case, but given how Lowe’s has had a few restocks for the kraken and diver already i’m willing to bet these props are already produced and in the USA given that they normally release 80% of their lineup online in June.

I agree that their prices are ridiculous. But I also will buy the HM tombstones and Sparky this year from them. I have already resigned myself to that fact.

Yes you got 5 for the same price but there is no way you can compare the two. The lowes tombstones were amazing last year. In my opinion well worth the price.

They are comparable in that Lowe's would charge twice as much or more for the same quality as the ones sold at HD. Yes, the obelisk was nice, but it was also $150. For those that are fine paying that, it was a good buy.

Hope they actually fixed the Kraken paint and lighting issues from last year if charging more for it this year. Something more permanent than a black sharpie.
