He is very cool and I bet he's not 39.99 anymore. 😁
I'm wanting to say it was $39.99 but I was in a hurry and figured I'd remember the price, clearly I did not. I'm sure I'll be back over there again soon and I'll take a picture if it is still there. Sorry about that.

I've tried soooo many TJMaxx/Homegoods/Marshalls/Homesense at this point. Has anyone found the ghost mirror in the new england area?
Can't speak to New England but I can confirm that I haven't seen it in Georgia and I've been to several stores.

Not my pictures but these were at a local Home Goods. The chair is made of resin. View attachment 805341 View attachment 805342 View attachment 805343
RESIN?!
gtfo outta here HomeGoods. I'd rather put that money towards a Haunt Cult chair that's actually made of wood, couch foam, and cloth that I can use year-round as an actual seat without giving me hemorrhoids and without it weighing a million pounds.

Was thinking the same thing, not the hemorrhoid part, ha ha! My fear would be sitting in it and it breaking. I have seen "real" chairs similar to this on Facebook marketplace that are cheaper, some are really fancy and super expensive but I don't really understand a resin chair either.

Grandin Road came out with a resin chair years ago, I’ll try to find it and then post it. I guess resin because you can leave it out in the elements?

Edit: I found the chair in the 2018 catalog. It also came with an ottoman.

That actually looks really cool, I’m sure it was quite uncomfortable and I’d be somewhat afraid of breaking it but it looks neat. You could probably go to a thrift store and find a beat up club chair that you didn’t care about getting rained on.

All of the decorative resin pieces I have are heavy, I can’t imagine the weight of some of these.

Agree, it is a cool looking chair and being resin has to be for the outside element aspect although I'm not sure how resin does in the elements. A fabric one would be great until after the rain when the mold started. I saw the resin chair at At Home a few days ago and even being a small person, I didn't dare try to sit on it. I'm also clumsy though so I would have tripped, knocked it into a display and destroyed an entire section of the store. Not saying that has or has not happened in the past but the domino effect is real y'all!

You're right, that thing would weigh a ton and bumping something and busting a corner off would be bad! Credit given for creativity though.

I have seen both the At Home and HomeGoods Skull benches recently. Actually, I think both were gone when I went back now that I think of it. I didn't touch them but assumed they were plastic like the 12 footers.

On my skull bench when I was putting it together I knocked the plastic peg that was at the bottom of the bench that is inserted in the hole at the top of the skull to keep the bench in place. I hope I’m making sense (not enough coffe in the world for me this morning) anyways I could see it was a combination of plaster and fiberglass. A very unscientific description about what the bench is made out of. I really don’t think that it will last more then a few years since I’m going to be leaving it outside all year.

I can tell you down here in south Texas, the sun is pretty brutal in the summer.

Vinyl, plastic, resin = not good outdoors

Anything like that gets very brittle after a couple years baking in the Texas Sun. Sadly, even my Home Depot tombstones are starting to crack very easily.

Crud, hope it didn't break where you have a problem. They have other props that are fiberglass so I should have thought about that option. Your backyard looks amazing so whatever time you get with it will still be cool. My backyard has limbs, trees and lots of mosquitos! LOTS of mosquitos! Big, angry, hungry ones!

Thankfully, we don’t have many mosquitoes because I will be the one that mosquitoes go after. I am everybody else’s mosquito repellent.
Thank you for enjoying the photos of my yard!

I lived in Houston for about 15 years, maybe more. I know that heat and I know that sun…I probably wouldn’t be putting my stuff out all year long if I still live there.
