I am a collector Katherine’s Collections however I’m not an expert on them. I would think that HomeGoods would be sent some sort of cease and desist letter from Katherine’s if these were dupes/copies of their products. I took a photo of the tags I received from this pumpkin stack tray and it’s looks identical to the tags that I get from what I know are Katherine’s authorized dealers. I would love somebody that knows more than I do to weigh in on this.
Not not licensed, just different from KC's OG items. Just like Calvin Klein in TJMaxx is licensed by them but it is a totally different factory, totally different manufacturing guidelines. There are many YT videos on how these family of stores do a brand deal but it isn't the brand in terms of materials or oversight. I assume at the price point, it IS an OG KC, but I thought all the items they had were not.

This HomeGoods was the most loaded one I have been to yet!

More Homegoods! The silver skeleton holding 2 candles reminded me of the style of the witches holding them from Pottery Barn I think?

Had a nice chat with a lady working there and showed her pics of what I was looking for. She said someone had come in looking for “The Mirror”. They were really rude when she told them they didn’t have it, I apologized that she was treated badly and genuinely hope it’s not one of ours from here.

Some great items! That’s disappointing someone was rude to the sales person, also who expects a viral hard to find item to just be somewhere when they want it?

Speaking of mirrors, I noticed Pottery Barn dropped the prices on their hologram mirrors to $399, they were close to $500 earlier this season which is still high but I want the Mr Bones skeleton one they have and hoping it makes it to a better sales price.

Made a stop at Homegoods on my way out of the city today and picked up a few things. I don’t remember anyone mentioning this cat before, but it was an instant buy for me and the only one I saw in the store. It’s quite heavy. It looks like a dupe for a Mackenzie Childs piece I’ve liked for a while.

I also got some witch hand candle holders, I liked this color scheme with the red and the orange over the pastel ones I’ve seen and had to grab another faux cake for my creepy confections set up.

I saw that cat but think I forgot to take a pic. It is super cool in person and reminds me of one they sold in At Home about 5 years ago. The At Home one didn’t have eyes though. I turned it into a feline Dr. Strange ha ha.

Awesome score! The witch hands with pumpkins are going to look amazing with candles!

Finally had a chance to see the Tarot Card Reader Booth. It’s adorable & great price. I didn’t buy it because someone else will be overjoyed when they find it. Behind the booth was the Arch. It’s fantastic but we don’t have storage space.
Dunno about the small “Medusa
Faux Fountain. It lights up but not sure how I’d fit it in.

I have heard from some authorized Katherine's Collection dealers that this a secondary line of KC, basically with the same face and sculpt but with less elaborate clothes and maybe some jewels that were not included on the outfits. Some items like the monster cake look nearly identical but the dresses for bride of Frankenstein, young witch on broom and the ghost bride HomeGoods had last year were slightly different outfits. So I am guessing they have some left over product and just do not put as much embellishment on some. These pieces look great to me. My HomeGoods has never had a KC piece except a white ghostly bride last year. I wish we got more. It would be easy to add some more bling yourself for half the price as an original.

I saw that fountain yesterday too, it looks nice, like a much much smaller Grandin Road Fountain of Mortals.

It would be easy to turn into a table top fountain. You can buy small pumps & water tubes for around $25 from Tractor Supply. You’ll need to drill holes for tubing & a basin for water. It’s sounds cumbersome but it’s actually pretty simple.

That's a great idea and a mister in there would be awesome but my understanding is cutting/drilling resin is really toxic and dangerous. I've gotten rid of a few pieces because I wanted to cut holes in it and got concerned and decided not to risk it. Of course now someone is going to tell me its not a big deal and I am going to sit in the floor and wail ha ha.

Whenever you’re drilling anything: Concrete, Glass, Resin, etc. You should wear protective eye glasses, gloves & mask. Heck, I’m paranoid & wear a mask when I use potting soil. The basic rule is “proper ventilation & protective gear. Honestly you can make a fountain out of just about anything. There’s lots of YouTube videos.
Your “Mister concept” is brilliant
