As for BF, if it is like last year they will have an all Month long bF sale and your normal BF sale. There will be two new colors of the giant 3 ft c9 lights...blue and yellow. Id assume these would be the month long sale. There will also be more nutcrackers for BF sale.Any surprises? Something we haven’t heard about yet?
Do you know what the BF prop will be from HD? Another nutcracker or something more imaginative? 😳🤯
Aw crud, I really like those lights! They have the colors I remember ours having (pink being one of them), which our colored LEDs don't currently have. And the blue in colored LEDs is always SO BRIGHT.A few things...
First thing is that Home Depot is coming out with "vintage" LED lights. They are bringing out their own version of LED lights that look like the incandescent ones from years ago to compete with TruTone (which i absolutely love). They have c9 and mini lights from what I can see on the display but I cannot see c7 ones. The display here definitely looks like cool white for the mini but ive seen other sisplays and they are definitely warm white. View attachment 811280

It feels weird to me too. This just seems like a weird year overall for holiday items merchandise wise. With the exception of Home Depot I feel like a lot of Halloween came out early in June/July too (I don’t mind that since not only is Halloween my favorite, but also fall - I’m definitely not a summer person). I’m not personally in the mood to buy anything Christmas related yet so I haven’t even really looked at it. Glancing at some posts in these threads I’ve seen some things I like but still not wanting to get anything yet.Sure I am in the minority here, especially in this thread, but Christmas being set up in September is just messed up IMHO. My HD just cleared the storage bins out to start and as of yesterday, it was wide open space ready to roll while Halloween was still fully up with plenty of inventory to go around. Yesterday, Lowe's already had Christmas trees up and a bunch of other stuff already displayed. I still have Halloween props set up in the house I'm doing mods on. I never put anything out before the 1st but am recovering from bruised or fractured ribs so nothing is happening this week sadly. HD and Lowe's are making me feel like I completely missed Halloween. I walked through the Lowe's Christmas display and it was just depressing. Maybe it has gone out early before but I don't remember it being in September.
Are you happy overall with Vern? I thought he was probably their best item this year. I don't really need him but if he's super cheap maybe I won't be able to resist. My store has tons of Halloween ,gonna be allot of cheap verns and worricrows ..All the Christmas stuff is outside in lawn and garden
I feel like they are mailing it in. Same stuff just in different colors. As for BF, if it is like last year they will have an all Month long bF sale and your normal BF sale. If you want old fashioned C7 or C9 light strings you can just buy them. I don't see the need for LED ones. I always use the multicolor C7 ones on my tree.A few things...

I think Lowe's still carries these every year. At least I know I saw them last year because I always grab a package or two of replacement bulbs. You can even find the blinking replacement bulbs ones online. I'm not sure if HD carries them in store or not.
I like it( weather proof),but not $399 worth,The wife says she likes her old dragon better(wings flap ,blows smoke). But since SVI has shunned us if the price gets low enough I'd buy another one just for parts. Are you happy overall with Vern? The Inland Empire….Fontana.WHAT, WHERE?!!???
Hopefully, you went and got them to adjust the price to the $299. It's a great deal at that price.I like it( weather proof),but not $399 worth,The wife says she likes her old dragon better(wings flap ,blows smoke). But since SVI has shunned us if the price gets low enough I'd buy another one just for parts.
