I am searching for what lights to use with my zombie lightening machine. I read somewhere how you use certain lights for the best effect. Any help and input would be great.

Dave721,

I used a blue photo flash bulb as I read it was the way to go, but after adding additional lights (just standard incandescent 200w bulbs) I found that they look as good as the photo bulb.
I recently got the firefly211 lightening machine. I bought photo bulbs and they worked great. Other members have used them as well. Below is a post I put on another thread regarding these lights. Hope this helps.

"I ordered two of the 500 Watt Photoflood ECT Light Bulb (http://www.buylighting.com/500-Watt-...-ECT-p/ect.htm). The lumens are 13,700. They fit in standard light sockets. I put them in 300 watt clamp lights (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I tested them with my new Firefly 211 and they were really bright! They worked great with the lightning machine but they really lit up the entire front of my house. The light is bright white and they are dimmable. My front yard is wide but not very deep. The lights are 20 to 30 feet from my house. I think they are too bright and I am going to order two of the 250 Watt Photoflood ECA Light Bulb at 6,500 lumens (http://www.buylighting.com/Photofloo...ulbs-s/164.htm). I think they will work better for me. I ordered the first set from buylighting.com. The shipping was $11. You can find these bulbs on Amazon. They are a few dollars more expensive but with Amazon prime you get free shipping.

If you have a large front yard that is deep then the 500 watt bulbs would work great. If you have a smaller front yard, then I would suggest trying the 250 watt bulbs. The best thing about these bulbs is that they are relatively cheap. Much cheaper than the LEDs. Be sure to check the hours on the bulbs. Some can last 20 to 60 hours but some last only 4 hours. Hope this helps others."
