I have cut out my gothic windows out of cardboard. I have layered the cardboard for a 3d effect ... maybe 2d ... and I am wondering if a thin layer of monster mud would be my solution to making it look more authentic and giving it a bit more strength. I am wondering if it gets moved or bumped will it crack? With 4 months before I put them up I don't want them to get destroyed.

Are there other alternatives ... Mode Podge with tissue paper ? Any advice would be much appreciated!

I would do cheese cloth and drylock.

It's a tough combination I used to attach my monster mud pluerant to the tomb here.

The only concern I might have is with it being a carboard base, it has a tendency to warp when it gets wet (say by a paint). So, you might want to do a spraypaint sealer first.

I have already assembled the cardboard into the window shape I want ... can I still use the dry lock on the cardboard or will it warp?
