Witches Den
Here are some pics of my covered deck decorated as a witches den. I have a lot less space now that the love seat was moved out there this summer so I could laze around and read. I had to try to put everything in there without looking too crowded.
Apologies for the picture quality but I am a lousy photographer, no way around that, with a lousy camera but it does the job.

I feel like you all, at Halloweenforum.com, are a part of my witches den since it is made up of so many ideas that were generously shared by haunters; from the bugs in frames on the wall to the spell books and or course all the potion labels. My cemetery is much the same. Made up of my less successful attempts at tombstones but I gotta say I love every bit of it from the smallest potion jar to the tallest tombstone. I have enjoyed learning how to make so many large and small things over the last few years, even while I was a lurker for a couple of years, and each project has been fun. Some I was scared to try but plowed through in my own clumsy way but when I look at these things I remember and it brings a smile to my face.
Thank you to everyone, from this humble haunter, for always being so generous with your creativity/artistry to those of us who "borrow" ideas.

I am so glad I have my witches den because I may not get my cemetery out this year. The lousy weather is the reason I started decorating my deck in the first place so there would be something decorated for the TOTers. It has been pouring rain all day but finally stopped a few minutes ago. It is suppose to rain hard again in a little bit with possible snow flurries today/tonight too. I was so looking forward to putting out my new tombstones that I made. So bummed out.
Keeping fingers crossed that it holds off long enough for the kiddies to run around and get some treats. If it holds off I may put out a few stones but not like I had planned. I bought some new lights & reapers etc to display but won't bother if the rain keeps up. I hope everyone else is having a better day.
