hi,
has anyone held a witches ball at home? if so how did you decorate please? there will be kids and adults present and my house is standard uk size. i have Lshape lounge/diner and kitchen, stairs and can do bits in front garden.

i have potion bottles to do an apothecary shelf, i have animal skeletons and wands and spell books that can go with potion bottles. I have spiders web, spiders nests etc. i have a smoking couldron and mini ones, plenty of witches hats.

the only room ive worked out is bathroom and thats having a melted wicked witch in the bath - hat, nose, dress, tights, shoes, fingers and green water in bath and a witch sat on the loo on the door.

That sounds great!
A corner for 'broom stick parking' would be fun... with a sign saying 'visitors welcome, all others will be toad'
I saw a pinterest where someone had strung up a lot of witch hats from the ceiling with fishing line and it looked really effective ...
I love the stitchwick sisters from costco, would be a great scene setter for the front garden.

well for one reason or another it didnt happen in 2019 and 2020 was cancelled due to cv19. HOWEVER, it is happening this year - even if friends are 2m spaced around my garden!!! lol.

i've got loads of picture of witches from the internet that will be going up my stairs, i have a huge cauldron and tripod for it go on, i'm working on a backdrop that will be going over my lounge window and i have a hanging tripod and caudron for garden with set of stand up witches.

a 5ft animated with "accidently" fell into my basket on ebay (haha!) but she needs abit of tlc. her skin is part white and part peach so needs sorting, she only has hair at the front so need add more but her hat is glued all round her head. i've already painted her nails and spray painted her bowl black (Was grey).
