"Bad, bad kitty!!! Leave my yarn ball alone!!"

I saw this type of prop at GrandinRoad.com one day last year during Halloween season, and decided to make it myself out of plywood and PVC (for support from behind). Only took a day to make them -- she is almost 5 feet tall. Any one else make one?

I just found one for sale on line a minute ago at E-Bay in England.

My total cost to build was under $20 for wood, PVC and flat black spray paint.

Jigsaws rule!! The broom is supposed to be the other direction (bristles down) but I like to do subtle humor sometimes. Plus, we are dog people -- 6 of them now (don't worry, 5 acres to run around on) and I don't care for cats all that much.

Looks great! I love black cats so I might have to try a cat next year. Wonder how it would look on a window seal with the light from the window to light him up?

Thanks for posting!

Very cool ! Sometimes I tend to forget that not every project needs to be elaborate to be effective and eye catching.

Did you use something as a pattern, or did you freehand it ?

Very nice! I remember a woman here years ago who only did a cutout scene of 2 witches over a cauldron. It looked great shadowed up against her house and she was even offered a large sum of money for them by a woman in her neighborhood. I wish I had a plain wall to do one myself.

Hi Mark,

I just free-handed it from the pic at Grandinroad's online catalog.
