This one might take me awhile, trying to recreate (as accurately as I can, which means squint with one eye in the moonlight) the Isla Tesoro map that is at the beginning of the POTC ride in WDL. I am working off the largest resolution photo I can find, but it still ain't great for accuracy. Working on a tan fake suede fabric I picked up for I think $1 at the Hancock close outs. Going to be approx 30x20". Working with precision sharpies, fabric markers and soft pastels. Here is my blown up black and white printout on top of the fabric sitting in front of my recently created "A Portrait of Things To Come" recreation from the crew quarters scene on the ride.

Been busy on so many other projects, haven't got much done on this one, but here is an update. Still just inking the outlines and let me say I am no artist.

Got most of the buildings inked. Started a bit of color, still long ways to go. Any artists have an idea to preserve it after words? Ink and Pastels on faux suede (probably some sort of poly).

This has been on the back burner, but got some more done on it. About half way done at this point.

Wow did I let that slip by. Well it mostly got done, still needs sealed and framed. I don't like the skull, I think the ink bled. May redo that with a stitched on piece later.
