I agree with the spending less money at Spirit, but I also think it's maybe more of a focus of the type of decorating done. Most of what I bought at Lowe's and Home Depot is made specifically for outside use. Spirit has a lot of neat things, but so much of it is electronically control that I would be afraid to place that outdoors for 2 months at a time. Not saying it's cheaply made, just that I think most of it is meant for more indoor or covered porch and I just don't have that need.

Good point, I am putting more stuff outside, and do not feel comfortable leaving indoor only animatronics outside. In my experience, all the animatronics are overpriced and rarely last more then 3 to 5 years. Feels like they just die in storage, and so many have stopped working fully with very minimal use. I don't buy anything anymore unless it looks good enough to be a static display, and only pay full price if I think something will sell out. I really miss the old 40% off coupons from Spirit, used to buy 2 to 3 animatronics from them every year.
