What you are seeing is a pumpkin leaf that has been partially eaten by snails then sun bleached white as it has decayed. The images have not been manipulated, color corrected or modified. How interesting that it truly does resemble a skull. It would really be something if the grown pumpkin were to come up with a bony spinal cord attached when yanked from the ground.
