Please do.... Should I go on?

Please do.
How can I get a Lowe's "Halloween Specialist" button of my own?
Where can I send my resume to apply for a local position?![]()
The button is not from Lowe's. I worked for Halloween City one year and I asked if I could take the button from them (in hindsight I should have taken a few since they didn't care). I asked my store manager if I could wear it and he said yes. Like I said, the position is not an official Lowe's job. You can't apply for it and you won't find another Halloween specialist in any other store./hides all the knives from Blarghity
I actually like inflatables and it isnt the only thing I decorate with. My TOTS like them tooWould be nice if they werent so darned expensive though. But it seems like our favorite holiday gets a bit ripped off in the price tag area. I mean, look at the lighting,, xmas lights start off at half the prices the Halloween ones start at.
The inflatables do stay about the same in price point across all holidays though, so cant catch a break for xmas either. :/
Hopefully Lowes will stock more this year of all their decor, maybe the button thing is a good sign?

Well played, Kuro...well played!!Okay, so this is very real. While Halloween Specialist is not a real position at Lowe's, I do get to wear the button all year. I assure you I am qualified, but the inflatables are probably going to be on the end of aisle 23/24 this year along with the rest of our meager Halloween offerings. We don't sell reindeer motors separately, but if we get the deer in this year, they will probably be in aisle 23 (our seasonal/OPE area was renovated, so I'm not sure about the Fall/Christmas layout yet). I appreciate the hugs and to be honest, the inflatables are getting better each year not to mention that an inflatable is better than nothing on a lawn.
Gravestone supplies: aisle 48 for foam, aisle 6 for glue (we don't carry Glidden Gripper and I haven't tested the Valspar equivalent yet), aisle 8 for brushes, rollers, drylok and I can tint it at our paint desk for you, oops paints are stored behind the paint desk on the aisle 8 side, aisle 13 for 1/2 inch conduit which is cheaper than the PVC in plumbing in my store, aisle 20 for rebar... Should I go on?
That's pretty brilliant Kuro! You've got a niche position and you'll have repeat customers that will want to come to you specifically. You can also convert people and upsell as you can get them more interested in prop building versus buying. IE - when you see them buying things that may be graveyardy talk them into building stones and why it's better. Very cool. The button is not from Lowe's. Way to go! Wish you were at my local Lowe's - it would save me so much time wandering the aisles (but then I kinda like wandering the aisles - I get some great ideas that way!)Okay, so this is very real.
