For me...it's comic books and super hero stuff.. I'm a big nerd and have some cool first appearances of comic book characters.

I unintentionally also have a collection of pinball machines.

What kind of junk tickles your fancy?

Pez, though I'm seriously considering divesting myself of a HUGE portion of that collection & only keeping the holiday ones & a few others.

I don't have pics though, they're all squirreled away at the moment. Which is why I think I'm getting rid of them.

My husband collects tiki stuff, especially mugs.

For me it's die cast cars.
Then a few times a week I collect full cans of beer and turn them into empty cans for recycling..............

Pezz? That is awesome. You should round them all up and display them before selling. I did that with my comics..it took me 4 months, but after doing that I found new enjoyment in my collection.

Die cast cars are cool too! I have a small hot wheels collection, but it's mostly superhero/Batman related. Anytime I saw a Batmobile I'd snag it. Especially if it was the 1989 onw

I just don't have the room to store ALL of them & I put out the holiday ones for each holiday. Right now they're all in Rubbermaid tubs in the garage or all over the place in the house. It's almost a perfect thing to collect since they're small so you can store a TON of them in a small space & the new ones aren't expensive, so I kinda got outta hand with them at one point.

I'm still waiting for my Freddie Mercury Pez though. I always thought that Pez would NEVER make KISS Pez because of their reputation in general, scary looking, Gene Simmons & his number of "partners" in certain adult activities, & all the other nonsense that people believe about them in general, but they finally did a full boxed set for KISS so I'm hoping that one day we'll get Queen Pez.

Pez has also figured out that people collect them & they now sorta cater to the collector market so it's just not as much fun anymore. Also, I kinda hate the actual candy so I generally just toss it.

Bugs.

Well, not at home anymore, the wife don't like that. My home collection is at the local university and used to teach class. Though I do have several native bee hives around the yard, and have been told I'm rather unnatural in my care of the local insect populations, enjoying pests just as much as 'beneficial' ones (It's hard to have lady bugs or praying mantises if you chemically remove their prey, some can't seem to fathom this fact)

But I start a new display/collection every time I move at work of things just at that location. It never ceases to amaze people just how many different kinds are in the facility. Not much to show right now as I've been in this location about a week before my Halloween vacation. Just a few true bugs and a couple species ants.

Frogs. I have a few unique Halloween froggy items and a ton of froggy Christmas ornaments. I have so much frog stuff it's insane! I still have 2-3 boxes of frogs packed in my basement that are awaiting a spot in my house. I just got a frog doorbell surround and there are frogs scattered all over outside my house.

I feel something coming on and hopefully someone here can talk me down from the ledge,.. My daughter was Audrey in her high school play of "Little Shop of Horrors".. Funko Pop released the figures of Seymour, Audrey, Orin the dentist and 2 versions of Audrey the plant.. Then Target released a special exclusive figure of baby audrey 2.

I noticed that there is a fan base for these figures. So of course I picked up the entire LSOH collection (the hunt for all of them took weeks and was actually a challenge ), and then I purchased a few other figures for myself (David S Pumpkins..I mean who would say no to that )..

I find myself wanting to take a stroll in stores I never usually do.. I think I need to walk away before I really start going crazy.

I feel the same way about those Funko figures. I really don't want to start collecting them. I really don't. I don't like them all, some of them don't look anything like the characters & I've somehow managed to not buy a crap ton of them.

And yet....I bought a Wendigo from Hannibal, then I had to see a Jack Skellington & Sally so of course I got those, then saw Finn, Jake, Flame Princess & The Lich King from Adventure Time. Then there was a Joey Ramone one for $9.99 & it was so cheap I couldn't NOT buy it.

But that's it.

I swear.

Right after I get the Bob Ross one.

Then I'm done.

I swear.

Unimpressed Cat is not impressed!<img src="http://www.halloweenforum.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" />

It's almost like he (or she?) is saying "Oh great, another frog <img src="http://www.halloweenforum.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)" class="inlineimg" />."
That's Ernie - he sort of came with the house. He just wants foooood meow! 😄

bwahahahaha...i'm new to the Funko frenzy. bought some xmas star wars for my son and then i found out how much more they have. So I do limit myself to Disney (and i don't like bunches of those) and Halloween/horror themes.

My favorites today are Danny from the Shining and the Universal movie Monsters....I need the mummy and dracula--i have the wolfman, frankenstein, Phantom and invisible man on the way. Working on those. My darling husband bought me a metallic creature from the black lagoon (gemini exclusive). We don't have space so I gotta hold myself in check.

Ouija/spirit Boards and related items
Tarot Cards
Dark candles (Halloween, horror, macabre)
Catholic religious items (vintage)
Cast Iron cookware (I've downsized quite a bit)
Stamps (Received my father's collection when I started collecting on my own)
Coal Mining paraphernalia - (Father(s), Grandfathers, Uncles, and cousins all coal miners. Lost my dad to the mine - he passed away 2 months prior to my birth)

Monster and spooky stuff in general, which I don't consider Halloween. Universal Monster statues, prints, etc.
Anything to do with Vincent Price.
All things Headless Horseman/Sleepy Hollow - well almost. Not the recent tv show or the Burton film, things true to the story. It was my first favorite book, I like it as it's told by the author.
Disney's Haunted Mansion- since I first bought the photo album in the magic store at Dland in 1984ish.
Victorian style boots. That I also wear whenever possible. No zippers, just lacing or buttons.
I used to collect a few more things, but I narrowed down, and won't allow myself to start another collection.
