What do you do the night before Trick or treat?

Alright everyone, I know most of you are lucky enough to have trick or treat be on Halloween, but in my city we do it the Saturday before, which is in just two days! I've spent most of tonight working on school work, but tomorrow after work (10-6) I'll be hustling all over to make sure everything is ready for the big night and doing some last-minute repairs. What do you do the night before trick or treat? Also, anybody have any good remedies for a good nights sleep? I'm so excited I can barely even stand it! :D

Well, this year, the night before we're going to see Rifftrax Anaconda showing at the movies - they're airing it the day before Halloween. Normally I'd be getting last-minute stuff ready & watching scary movies or something, but I love the Rifftrax stuff, so I'm not missing that! lol
I do nothing! Thanks to regular vandalism (hey surprise! regular, daily acts of vandalism a few miles south of Camden NJ,which was infamous in the 80'sand 90's for the arson rivalry it had with Detroit!). Instead,I set up the morning of and start breaking down promptly at 8 pm Halloween night.
The night before I carve pumpkins!

The night before is my busiest night! I'm doing light checks, sound checks, fine tuning, any last minute weather effect repairs, prepping for the Halloween night party, cleaning up...then I try to get a few hours sleep.
Typically I am adding just one more prop....and maybe another.

And cleaning up the disaster I've created in the process.

No special traditions or anything but this year my son and his fiancé are coming over to carve pumpkins. Should be fun! :)

Finishing up any last minute prop issues, cleaning up for TOT, maybe watch a scary movie with the Family. It all depends on what night Halloween falls on. When it's during the week I am always dealing with kids' school stuff and getting their "character" costume together for them to wear to school
Try to get some sleep. I'm usually to wired.
I don't do anything really special the night before. But tonight I'll be staying up late...listening... waiting... just in case. Heh... Heh... Heh..I've been hit by thieves 3 times in the last several years. Every time was on a Friday night. :)
Halloween movies, final touches on costumes, likely throwing something in the crockpot for dinner on halloween. Saves times after work so I don't have to cook dinner!

This is so sad. I am fortlunate enough to live in a neighborhood where the children on the block actually watch out for my cemetery and let me know if something happens. I can set up my display in Sept and enjoy it for almost two months, putting a little out at a time. The worst I have had happen is pumpkins getting smashed and before we made out own headstones and had only store bought lights some lights were broken.

I admire the fact you continue to put up your display every year and not let them win.

Oh and as for the top of this thread, lol We have our Halloween Party in the driveway every year the night before Halloween.
