E-firecrackers are the hot ticket, so has anyone tore one down to get to the science behind them? After searching the forums and coming up empty, is there anyone who knows how they work?

They work with a capsitors. They store a charge of energy and then are grounded out to discharge. the discharge makes the noise. Be carful, they hold a charge.

I had seen a picture of the insides once on the forum but i dont remember where, I believe it works like a negative ion generator, Think ionic breeze that cleanes dust buy shocking.

If i had more then one, i could crack open the shell, it would be fairly easy to trace out and reproduce the PCB, then Identify the parts on it, then people could make there own, any time they want.

perhaps make it better, bigger caps, louder brighter spark, probably a shorter life though.
