So i picked up about 50 styrofoam blocks, free off craigslist. They are 18x12x12, not sure what you call the type but they are tiny balls compressed. Im making pillars and arch, what can i use to connect the blocks together . Also ive carved the pieces to look like rocks, but the seams stand out like a sore thumb. Should i use the same adhesive that you great people are going to tell me to use, or should i fill with something else. I tried uploading pics yesterday, but i failed

Well i used great stuff,( it was suggested by a few people). not happy :( i did not have enough weight on it so it made the seams even larger. So now i need to get some kind of a silicone filler. Tomorrow i'll try liquid nail...

In order to minimize glue dry time so I can keep building, I opt for using 2 different glues: 1) Gorilla Glue Construction Adhesive AND 2) 5 minute Epoxy.

5 minute epoxy is usually too expensive to do the entire project, but it grabs quickly and helps the other glue time to set up and hold for the long term. I don't let the glues mix or touch, I simply put an outside line of epoxy and then put down the Gorilla Glue in the center. When the 2 halves are glued, the epoxy sets up in 5 minutes and doesn't let the pieces move and once the Gorilla Glue sets for a few hours, you have a permanent bond. This helps keep your time in check so you don't have to wait hours for the construction adhesives to set up.

So my final try was great stuff sprayed into the hole in the center of the styrofoam to secure the pvc pipe, and liquid nail to hold the styrofoam blocks together. Worked great. Thanks guys.
