for a haunted hayride I volunteer at we made a shack with a human to werewolf morphing illusion thing and it turned out pretty well.

our theme was werewolves of course!

well I saw this:

Monster Morph Illusion < Halloween Props < Fright Catalog, Inc.

and then I saw the price tag and was like yikes!

so I researched to try and figure out how I could make my own and found out about the pepper's ghost illusion and basically used that.

which basically the effect is done with plexiglass and spot lights by dimming one while brightening the other and vice versa.

Wow that turned out really great! We did the same illusion in a transformation box for a mad scientist lab one year. It was a big hit. Might have to go for life size next time!
