The leprechaun comes too early, so does the April Fool. The evil Easter Bunny with his Rotten Eggs moves around too much to keep track of him so what the heck their loss is Walpurgis' win.

Time to send all our Witchy Poo pals a spring wish.

A little FYI - Walpurgis Night is the English translation of Walpurgisnacht. It is the night of April 30th, the eve of Saint Walpurga Day. German folklore also calls it Hexennacht or Witches" Night. It was believe witches met on the highest peak in the Harz mountains to await spring. Celebrations are held with dancing, drinking and bonfires. Walpurgis is 6 months before Halloween so what better way to get us into the Halloween early in the year.

Here's how - Post how many cards you are willing to send out and where you are willing to send them to - US only, US and Canada, Everywhere and Anywhere. Then Private Message your personal info to others who have posted on this thread you want to exchange and wait with baited breath your witchy spells to arrive. Please try to have your cards popped into the mail by April 25 so they arrive in time for Witch Night.

Yes this is open to all. Keep in mind not every might be willing to send overseas though. Most will say in the thread if they are willing to send oversea or not. If Not I'd say send them a PM and ask.

I've been back and forth on whether to join in this time mainly due to time....or lack thereof. But since it's so small surely i can manage it. I will send anywhere and will send to everyone. I think I have everyone's address except for one , who I will PM. Not at all sure what I'm going to do, no plan at all for a card design.

There might still be some Disney villeins stamps around. They have Maleficent, Ursula and the Evil Queen on the sheet of stamps, they can stand in for witches. I have a few left but not quite enough even for so small an exchange... someone is going to get stuck with Lady Tremaine, Hook or Scar. Going to have to see if I can get more.

Felt inspired and have my design for this year's card mostly done. Waiting for Frog to take a look and get his opinion. If he approves then should have them done next week and ready to pop into the mail after that. Still plenty of space and time for anyone who might still want to join in the fun.
