I do a super simple little walkthrough in our 3 car garage every year. We have PVC rectangle frames covered in black plastic that we hang from hooks in the ceiling as wall/dividers. They are a few years old and sagging etc so I'd like to build some better ones. I was thinking about making frames out of 1x3s and sandwiching them between some kind of thin plywood etc. I have read in a few posts where people did this with 1/4 in OSB board. When I check my home depot and lowes, the thinnest they have is 7/16ths and that is 11dollars and change. Is that the thinnest stuff I will probably find?
Thank You
Tina

Lowe's in the south has a wall board that works great, is smooth on one side and rough on the other. Is 0.115 inches thick and in my area $8.98/sheet. Make sure you use screws with threads
all the way to the screw head. 1" deck screws should work into your 1 x 3. Or try 2 x 2 (furring strip) just make sure they are not warped. Below is the description and model #.

47.75-in x 7.98-ft Smooth Brown Wall Panel
Item #15483 Model #SS1254825
