Probably because there isn't much worth buying. And definitely not at retail.
Walgreens is clearancing Halloween already
At least, at our stores. They had 3 people on it when I was there earlier, and one told me that they just started.

yea, walgreens kind of sucked it up this year for halloween in store.

Had stopped in once at the beginning of the season, but didn't see much of anything to interest me this year. Happened to stop in again a few weeks and took a look around. The Halloween stuff had been pretty well picked over by then, so someone's buying it. *shrug*
Yea, Walgreen's has always been good about discounting their stuff BEFORE Halloween.
It's great if you need some more light strings or other small décor. I've always found some great bargains during the sale.

The only thing that I liked in there was the giant skulls for $20. If they became cheap enough, I might pick up a couple to add to my roof next year. Besides the fact that they're huge, they're not very realistic looking but I'm still drawn to them for some reason. I think it's because I had a couple of Halloween dreams where I had large skull props.
Our larger store was nearly out of all of their Nightmare Before Christmas stuff, but I didn't go to our smaller store to see what they had, yet.

oh nice, where you live? target doesnt have much either this year. party city and spirit are the only decent ones, unless you buy from fright props.Kinda?
