OK All you Guys and Gals with 3 axis skulls wondering what they are going to jibber about in the cemetery this year.....I wrote the script last year but ran out of time but I finally got the base track finished tonight.....I still want to add wind, thunder, bells tolling at midnight and a scream at the end followed by that creepy laugh some lady did on here this past Halloween that someone else put sound effects too...That was truly creepy and will fit on the end of this nicely...My idea is to tie together a short story by a 3 axis skull graveyard caretaker (see my pics-the guy holding the lantern) followed by a coffin flying open pnuematically exposing the bride that wants to KILL YOU! Screaming with strobe followed by creepy laugh....That should scare some people:D...Click the link below and it should start playing automatically....I clicked on options when uploading to allow people to download it but I can't figure out how it is suppose to work...If someone wants to host it, I'll gladly send it so everyone can share...Not sure when I'll get the sound effect version done....ZR

I really like the urgency and menace in his voice. Creeped me out so early in the morning :)
Thanks Vendetta!...I like your coffin BTW....Nothing like a REAL coffin to freak people out :D.....1 word ARCADES!!!....I used to have almost 20 cabs but now I'm down to 1 cab that plays over 1000 games...I bought the jamma pcb off ebay that looks like a small computer....Works pretty awesome....I'd love to have a Monster Bash pinball and a Carnevil cab....Good stuff!

Thanks Terra!....I'm not so sure I didn't come up with the storyline from seeing your beloved tombstone last year....That thing is truly inspiring.....If you do a 3 axis skull this year, this voice over might work if you put the slamming coffin by the beloved stone...When the graveyard caretaker gets to the end of the "legend", the coffin would start slamming with a scream like she's trying to get out followed by the creepy laugh...Don't forget to keep a channel open on the DMX to flash a spotlight on the scene when the thunder crashes too....Thanks again!...ZR
Nice Vo! Terrific pics on the site as well. I built a MAME machine a few years back. PC arcade emulator though, no JAMMA. Plays 150 classic arcade games. But to get back on topic...what audio editing/recording software did you use?

Hello Dr....The pcb doesn't look anything like MAME when everything boots but I'd pretty much bet my life it's a customized front end running MAME....I built a MAME cab first before putting this together so I know MAME.....

I should tell you I record music too (how many hobbies can 1 person have?) so there's more than just software that makes it clean....I used Cakewalk Sonar 6 Studio Edition, Audio Technia 4033sm condensor mic with pop filter, and an Apogee Mini Me....Probably the most important piece here is the Apogee...Apogee makes some of the best convertors so it's nice and clean...It has a built in compressor so you can really keep the distorted passages down while recording into the PC....The mic is the second most important- I got it used off ebay for a mere $250 and sounded good enough that I sold the u87ai mic ($2000)....anyway I did 4 takes and then cut and sliced the best phrases into 1 ....Pulled a mix of that into Wavelab to finish cleaning up and adding plug ins- compressor-pitch-eq-inflator....Thanks for the interest!.....ZR
