I received my arms/legs stem the other day and Oh My, I could not be happier. I will be ordering another set next year. I am hoping to do some sort of "Peter Peter Pumpkin..." set up but I have to find the right size doll first. 5 stars!

I got three today at CVS (Mpls suburb). Left one on the shelf. One can never have enough arms/hands.
Ha, ha, I did the same thing, took three and left one. Had to get three so they can interact with each other. We are going to have to start a thread just for posting pics of our finished Villifane arm/leg pumpkins once we start setting them up. I've got a few ideas already for mine.

Got me some Pumpkins today and even though we won't be carving them until next week I couldn't resist sticking the arms on and posing them. We call the guy on top "The Rocker", he will have squinting eyes and a big screaming grin. The middle one is called "The Slasher" -no face decided on yet, and the bottom one is "The Treater Greeter" since he is grasping the stick that holds up my trick or treat sign and waving.

Ellie, Villafane Studios doesn't produce them. They designed them and license them to be manufactured by someone else....who is very late in getting the pumpkin replica witch face to GrandinRoad I will throw in (been on order since 7/30 grrr). When I spoke with one of the people at VS she told me that they even have been having trouble getting supply to sell and as soon as it comes in they ship out. Rarely will you see a company who comes up with a product undersell the retailers. And it's not really what VS does (the manufacturing end) so why piss off others out there selling it.

Halloween Asylum was (still?) selling the pumpkin parts and GrandinRoad had the pumpkin kit as a whole for purchase. It's actually been something discussed on the board for several months in the different forums.

Not clear on what you mean about your CVS. It is a drugstore. The Pumpkin arms were sold in their seasonal aisle along with the halloween candy and other decorations. I had to call around to several CVS's before finding one that had gotten a supply in. This was either back in August or September. They had at least 8 on the shelf but I thought the manager told me there might be more in their shipment. They werre a pretty large store and I guess did a good volume of business. From what I've read other stores got 3 or 4 in and some none.

If you have a CVS pharmacy that carries halloween mdse, it pays to sign up for their Rewards program. You get coupons for 25% off during this time that you can use on your halloween purchases when the item isn't on sale and our purchases go towards rewards dollars like $2-3 etc which can be used to pay for some of your halloween stuff. I used my 25% off coupon to buy my arms and so I think my actual cost was something like $7 plus.

Ghost of Spookie,
Thank you for the information. I first tried to order the whole kit from GrandinRoad but they were sold out so I goggled Villafane and found them there. I should have googled the product instead. Lesson learned.

I am still waiting for my skeleton dog from GRoad. I was happy to see a dog with a different skull than usual.

My son said they are building a CVS in his city (we are in sticks) so I will tell him about the rewards program.
Thanks again,
Ellie
